When a car is that bad, it must have been fitted with a heritage shell, to me that makes it a kit car... After all with a kit you buy a chassis and body then find a donor for the for the electrics and running gear.. Only difference is the origin of the log book and registration..
Found out where my MOT inspectors suggested seaside rust has come from, the local council... Its been dry here all week, and for winter not too cold... but the road outside my house has been wet all week, soaking at night, Morning traffic sounds like its traveling on a rain wet road... There was so much salt on the road it was drawing water, forming shallow puddles, trickling browny yellow to the curb... So a strong salt solution coating the underneath of every car, then it performs its hygroscopic action on the chassis.. Its taken a full week for the road to look dry in the day.. Only noticed as I thought somebody had been p ! ssing on a car
