I'm a bit disappointed by the price, I had been half expecting a bounce up to 18-19 even before the bonds are confirmed sold. But here we are at 14.7. I know nothing about technical analysis but the share price graph kinda looks like we could temporarily get back down to 13p but I think as soon as the positive rns is out ref the bonds, I would not be surprised to see the sp jump 20-30% from where we are here

Don't have time to read much about dankali at the mo, no idea if it is a feasible project, as someone stated it may be a different product but its used widely at the moment of course and currently is one of the main products of choice for farms at the moment for supplying K

Indeed it was a buy of the decade back in 2016, I foolishly sold some at £7 and £14 wish I'd hung on to them as increased near ten fold from the bottom, nearly ten bagger

don't know how much more i can say, i'm not to sure how Agarwal's shares will be sold, but if they are sold directly on the relvant stock exchanges, it will significnatly increase the supply of shares for people to buy, the resulting change in supply and demand would normally cause the share price to fall. Just as when Agarwal bought his shares over however many months significant buying would have supported the share price and drove it up. Agarwal sale of shares is nearly 6 times bigger than the share buy back so in my opinion it will have an effect on the share price, will be interesting to see in 6 months time

Delayed accounts are one of the very worst signals to the market, id guess there is going to be significant writedowns due to HOF but while the results may be bad they may not be worse than is already is priced into the SP. gla,

well with 259 million more shares about to be sold to the market i would guess it is going to go much lower! daily volume of 3M approx so its going to take some time to sell the shares and how far could the price drop? no idea but would 15% over a few months be far of the mark?

i gave up some time ago on the motley fool articles, think i used to read them "back" in 2017, when i knew less about shares and companies than i do now, i still glace at the sxx ones but won't read the new one - as, as we know there is no new news.

Hey Brad interesting post. Do you ever think that spread bet providers or cfd providers sell short shares in which their customers have large long positions in ? I did wonder if our last tree shake where we went to 12.8p was to knock all the long positions out by destroying their margin. What do you think? Could that be a ploy? thanks

RR, agree with the first part, but the second would be impossible to prove that it had absolutely no effect, not even a minor contributing to factor . As I'm sure you're aware worries of a sectors can result in markdowns of all within, even if not in production or directly affected . Bit like in a bear market they all get marked down whether the worry of the market is affecting the company in question or not.

Noted many mining shares down today rio - 4.6% aal - 3.25% maybe today's drop was also partly a sector thing, rio was down due to broker downgrade

Just read that the Sirius share price once rose 93% in a day, falling back to a 63% gain on a day in the not so distant past. That was on the back of the national parks backing the work back in 2015 (I believe), Bloomberg article 1st July 2015.

That must have been quite a day for the long-term holders! But about 10 months before I first bought in.

I am not sure the rerate we will see on the day of confirmation of the successfully bond sale but it’s certainly going to be positive. How much are we going to see?? Hmm 30% would be nice

I wonder what % of the British public has heard of sirius minerals. Plenty of press lately but the BBC seems to have stopped reporting on it, they used to release small stories on it. I guess main stream news has a bias for negative stories

Particularily liked the section about market manipulation, that was really new to me so my first taste of how it works - i believe i've even seen it in this share at times! Just looked up Charlies book -- jeez it is expensive.... saw a pdf availabel for £12 but grudge paying that for what is probably a knocked off pdf... happy reading once you start.
