RE: Sirius Investor Relations8 Aug 2019 13:44
Our comany would not gain anything directly, well except the sale of the bonds.
In my silly way at looking at it lets say there was a bank called atomic bank that had expressed an interest in the bonds. last week they said to sirius 13.5% interest is not adequate to compensate for the risk. We need a better deal. They could twist the arm of sirius by saying " announce teh bonds have been pulled, let the share price drop" then the share price drop, they , or someone else buys. a month later they say "ok we have our shares, now we confirm that we will buy our bonds". rns goes out bonds confirmed, share price goes up 50-60% atomic sells their shares nets some millions, and they have their bonds that they had intended to buy all along.
Sirius gets the bonds sold, after arm twisting, atomic or other party gets a sweetener
forgive if this is drivel, but i see it as one way someone was out to take money -- shorting could have been another of course, in my earlier post
