I'm, rightly or wrongly working on a guess that sirius stay as the operating company and we see little or no dilution of our shares.

Wouldn't be so sure on that, you might be surprised at the scale of some folks share holdings here. 1m shares is just 100k in today's money, less if they invested 5 or more years back

Well relatively positive story more recently, they are mining and selling polyhalite. Think they are aiming for 1M ton annually. They are most likely a higher cost producer than Sirius is planning to be. They originally produced SOP i think (may have been mop). As this ran out they changed over to mining Polyhalite and reduced there staff numbers considerably

When sirius is up and running it may well render boulby redundant as sirius is expected to be a lower cost producer, hence boulby may become unviable to operate. Guess the staff if affected will naturally move over to sirius where roles allow...

Markets have been risk off for a while, what with possible quantitive easing, lower interest rates in America, possible trade deal China US (trumpet must know not to rock the boat too hard with his 2020 campaign soon), markets will likely move to increased risk appetite and freer money. Could bode well if it comes soon enough.

did read your comment about poly4 place in a market flooded by MOP. This would be a good example of displacement, it would not necessarily matter if the market was flooded with MOP if the poly4 is priced materially below a kg/tonne equivalent of MOP, that is where the money would go and mop production could / would reduce

Long day hence my stupid thoughts, but some of the recent events made me think of us investors being in a patent child relationship.
Young sirius needs some money start their career, they appear to struggle at their stage 2, so parents investors step in and start helping....
Cue mp's on sirius case, national newspapers and TV. Young sirius is probably not sure what hit them!

But good on everyone's support I say.

Wonder how or if our recent support will influence potential bond buyers, perhaps no effect but perhaps they will see that the project has been brought to the nations attention and valued by it.

Did anyone see sirius minerals reply to an edgy Facebook poster question about funding "As per our RNS announcement on 6th August, the Company intends to revisit the market later this quarter. That is still the case and we are still working hard to conclude the stage 2 financing process in line with the financing plan set out earlier this year.
