Am I missing something about that this is money article? I thought if the government had "backed" the bonds they would not have got not a penny of interest as it would have been a guarantee, the interest would go on to the purchaser of the bond... What they missed out on was potential corporation tax in the future. Either this is money are incompetent in their journalism, or I am,

Bond market is really poor lately, metro failed to get theirs away and was it Aston Martin that failed get all of theirs away too? Some at 7.5% and some at 12%?

Was feeling bit pe of with today's near 25% drop yesterday's 10% last week's 50%,few months ago 30% and the other 50% before that, mathematics?!! But in perspective it's just a 0.8p drop, "25%“ hardly matters now, it could drop 50% every day for a week and we'll only get marginally poorer.....

Did someone put a siphon into my portfolio? My goodness how Sirius is deflating. Will need a near 500% increase to get to the 15-16p levels….
Im not buying any more quite yet but if we get to 1p and I think there is a small chance in survival of the company I may quadruple my holding in an attempt at salvation….

It could be such a win for the government to actually get behind this, they're almost missing a trick by not doing so..........
they should be greedy for the future revenue steams, also will save them thousands in benefit payments if the workforce don't need to sign on temporarily .....

Interesting that other than capital i believe there have not been more major institutional sells that have shown up. would be nice to see a few other directors buying in, but with options being reviewed it may soon be considered a closed period for tehir trading -- good that at least CF managed to get his buy in

Hoping CF proves his worth and see's that those that funded the project aren't shafted.

I was thinking. Depending on how a strategic partner views the project a placing price for new shares could be something like this… capital expenditure to date £1.2B, additional funds brought in through the placement £500M
If the partner was a real partner and valued the investment to date we could see the placing price around 15-17p if however a fire sale could be below the 4p
Just crude guesses but still a glimmer of hope for some redemption

Good to see some familiar names posting in the last day or so, the board has been deluged by what looks like many genuine folks that don't post often, and a few non genuine ones too.

i do think there may be some value here for those that hold. Dilution may be bad, but it is interesting to bear in mind that we may have 500M or so new shares IF a strategic investor comes in, but we have fewer than we might of if those convertible bonds had converted at some point in the future. Sadly though, due to the depressed share price the dilution is going to be significant.

Wish i could invest more in an attempt to average down, although frowned apon by many, it can be an effective method of turning a loosing position into a salvaged one.

Gosh the gloom on here today. I'm maybe naive but I find some of what has happend today slightly positive. The company has shown it does not intend to go bankrupt, its taking action to continue. I'd say for those that stay invested there is a high chance to recoup losses, and for new investors a chance to make money. Could be wrong
Only wish I'd had more dry powder, I've learned from this
