The big play here is the wider therapy cancer treatment, so looking to hold for as long as possible. It is hard to know what price this will reach as it could be taken out down the line by a competitor, but I think in a few years people have said here potentially up to £20 a share. The ideal scenario that you take out your initial investment at some stage and some profit and then in here for a free ride. That's my strategy but everyone will be different. I'm certainly not planning to sell any of my holding at the moment!

Hi Visainn, Good post below. I think on here, the key thing is patience. I guess for some they may have made huge profits and want to take their money and invest somewhere else. I was once told from a good source to invest in Arm holdings, I never took up the advice and we all know what prices they rose to. I don't want to miss out here and I'm hoping everyone realises the through potential of this company!! People here will make life chaning somes and that includes me. If you can clear your mortgage, for the majority that will be life changing in itself. I'm targetting to clear 3 mortgages and retire early, so in for the longer term!! As always I wish everyone great luck with their investments here!!

I don't often like to average up but I did yesterday buying further tranches at 1.53 and 1.75. Average now at at 87p. I'm now sitting in the seat waiting for the action. News I feel is imminent. GL ALL!!

Agreed, it's been an exciting journey. I look forward to the days and weeks and months ahead. This is just the start, I thought if this reaches £1 would be great, then set a target of £2, nearly there now. It won't be too long before we are at £2.50 on decent news and on toward the £5 mark I reckon? Latest views?

I'm about to lose my job at work, nothing would give me greater pleasure if these start to fly!! Hopefully AVACTA does, looks a great company!!! Exciting times ahead, hold tight for the ride, when real good news drops and can't be long now, this will super charge the Sp for sure!! GL All!!

JonesRichard, when you suggested the £5+ SP a while back I thought not a chance for a few years, now it certainly doesn't seem that crazy at all with momentum building here. Although my average holding is now 0.81 and it hurts me to buy at current prices, this will be considered very cheap in the not too distant future!!! Exciting times ahead for sure!!

Given where we are now and current news, if there was to be a take over bid before Actava was to grow too successful, what's people's views on a relistic takeover price? Would we be looking at £5 a share or higher? Welcome all your views, gutted missed the big rise yesterday, however if it falls back a bit, will look to increase my current holding.

Qataris on the side line perhaps for a buy out? Just a thought is there any risk of further funds needing to be raised asking shareholders and therefore share dilution on the cards? Any views most welcome.

I hope Avacta is the investment of a lifetime for us all. Certainly for me, will recover the bad investment decisions I didnt make in the past and if this SP goes to a great level, allow me to retire, probably like many on here!!! I try myself to feel a general consensus on the board, but there are so many rampers here, you have to be objective as an individual and come to your own reasonable conclusions. As I've said myself many times, anyone invested here long term will do well. I was in the past made massive losses and been trading pharmaceuticals I came across by chance. I ve managed to pull back my losses big time and invested profit in here now. Buying and selling on the dips to increase my holding for a longterm hold. Everyone knows IAG should survive, I feel risk v reward is good here and easily go up 3 - 4 times current level. It will just take time, but if you have the time you will do rather well!!!

I should add, the UK public love travelling and a bargain price if they can get it, once people feel safe to travel they will return and as momentum builds the SP will certainly propel nicely. Anyone whose got in at current levels will do very well indeed, we are probably either at or not far from the bottom. I never call it right!!!

Hi Stuart 1471, I think over 6 months of course will go up, but possibly drift a little lower towards £1.50-£1.60 mark. We need the UK government to confirm regarding the quarantine period starting and finishing, until then and also confirmation when IAG can then confirm its intention to start 'meaningful flying' on the back of the Governments information on quarantine will start to drive the SP up in my humble opinion. Once this clarity provided then investors will see the daily loss of cash start to reduce and light at the end of the tunnel.

Good post Aglu, I sold out first thing this morning and bought back on the dip, only a couple of hundred extra shares but builds up my longterm holding. All countries will want to get their own economies going and before long borders will be opened up again and more flying commencing. Agreed, if IAG is doomed a lot worse will be happening out there in the economy and world wide. As long as there is no second peak like there was with the Spanish flu, longterm investors here will be fine. I think we are not far from bottom, assuming no more surprises with covid-19. The extension of furlough until end of Oct, gives organisations time, so it will certainly help IAG, hence SP hasnt gone much lower. A good longterm hold. Good luck to those holding out for 80p, personally I dont see much lower and probably not breaking £1.50.
