I think we need to look at more than a feeling. When the Prime Minister sets out a plan for getting us out of lockdown on Sunday and it starts to become more clear on the overall sentiment that other countries come out of lockdown, borders start to open, people return to work etc, then I feel there will be clear light at the end of the tunnel and SP will head towards £2.50 mark quite quickly. It's only when the key long haul destinations, for BA that's America, when that opens up then hopefully SP rises backup to £3+. Its going to be a slow burner and aircraft likely to fly with light loads for a number of months due to social distancing measures and also people need to gain courage in flying. That wont happen I feel until its proven the Corona virus covid-19 is under control with wide spread track and trace testing, heat sensors rolled out at the airports. This company will survive and come out much stronger, eventually SP will rise by take 3-5 years in my opinion to get to previous heights. GL all, a great long term hold for your portfolio!!!

As RichKen said, it's the cancer treatment that is the big thing to play for, Covid-19 tests will absolutely put AVACTA on the map big time!! A great long term hold and I wish all shareholders well!!

All, worth looking at thebasource.com website. They show the current fleet of aircraft and what is flying and parked up, there is a special covid section. Although a majority of the fleet not flying I noted yesterday for instance all the 777-300 were, looks like majority cargo flights or repatriation. There is still money coming in but of course no where near what it should be!!!!

Takingmytime, Good post below!! I agree with your sentiments, I topped up this morning at 192p, was hoping for lower, the thing I need to tell myself majority of other carriers not flying either. Provided IAG can weather the storm, longterm this is a great hold, a few competitors may even go under and IAG will emerge much stronger and leaner. Near term, risk of course of 2nd spike in Covid-19 and industrial relations wont be easy, with job losses. A good longterm hold, but in my view possibly 5 years before you see 600+. GL All!!

We should open up, placing news already priced in, onwards and upwards towards the £2.50 mark. GL All!!

Hi folks, I couldn't sell on the peak this morning and then scared I get locked out, so topped up at 194p. Longterm, today's RNS will be good news, plenty of funding now and once settled SP should march up towards the £3 mark. GL All!!!

I think will edge up towards the £1.50 mark and once CE mark obtained. £2.50+ in my opinion. In and out from 28p, averaged up so now average 57, enjoying the ride. GL All!!

It took me about 10 mins to buy and in that time price had gone up slightly. Under £1 is still good, this company will fly and as people say here SP will rocket when decent RNS is out!!!

Johnewing , BA dont really make much money on the short haul routes, it's the long haul routes that make majority of money particularly US and London to New York. We need international routes to open up again and when they do in my opinion will head up towards £3 mark. Until then, when European routes start to open up properly we will most likely see the SP between £2.50 to £3 range. I maybe wrong and its higher, but it will take time to get confidence back. Also if social distancing rules are implemented on flying such as not selling middle seats etc, then capacity restricted.

Johewing, these are the detailed results for Q1, so will provide hopefully further details following last nights numbers. I bought tranches earlier today around 209, so hoping to pull back on previous losses. I need the pharmaceuticals I'm in to go up quicker than IAG does and then to pile back in here further and hopefully recover my losses pre covid-19 and perhaps make a tidy profit!! Long term at current prices a great buy, but will take time to return to previous levels, alot longer than some people think. People are scared to go to the supermarket at the moment, not to mind flying.
