Buffaloben, I agree with you totally, just looking for the opportunity to gain some extra shares of selling up some and buying in lower. In the longer run, this sector is going to rebound fast!!

Hi All, what's your views on the likely open and SP drop today. Given the news in the US and wider markets I would expect at least 5% - 10% drop on open but likely to test 220 level?

I would bet towards £4 and not £1. IAG will be flying again will just take time for SP to get back to pre covid levels.

SP can go down quickly here but positive sentiment, this will fly just as quick. Notice of countries opening up and air bridges in place, I think were back to £3.50+. Longer term if restructuring happens a leaner airline, less competitors , IAG could easily reach £10+ per share. It will take time, loaded up now for long term holding. May trade a few in the morning to buy in lower to increase my holding here. Great opportunity for top up. GL All!!

Where do you think the SP could be if a restructure is to happen such as more like Easyjet labour costs?

The placing was over subscribed and successful I think it shows the direction this share is heading!! Hoping for transformational news in the not too distant future soon!! Cant be long before we see £5+ here!!!

Trek - Excellent post below, I think the fact the recent placing was so over subscribed, and SP has reached a good level is very telling!! I'm certain Alistair will want to have some news prior to Thursday's presentation, so wouldn't be suprised at all if an RNS lands in the run up to the presentation. With the reports of spikes of covid19 in some regions such as NW and SW, testing is the way forward. GL ALL!!

I would have thought some significant announcements before Thursday's presentation. It looks like the ducks are getting lined up here.

It will be interesting to see how many people sell up or take profits before the weekend. Personally, I'm holding now as I don't want to be locked out when the good news drops, you never know with this share. Long term a great company, surely can't be long until the next all important RNS!!

Interesting research note, I particularly like the last wording 'Avacta appears to have ideally positioned itself for the creation of significant long-term value for shareholders'.
Had sold out a large portion to ride the airlines, back in here again today, when the real good news arrives this will fly!!! Gl All!!
