There's a dad at the school gate who works for a diagnostics company. He's on the financial side. (I did buy some shares in his PLC for a while as they seemed to be doing well, getting a bigger HQ etc.). Anyway, he is always very bullish on diagnostics due to advances investing technology and the ageing population which will use more and more testing as time passes.

So I guess those promoting '£200 ex-China' and people referring to 'President Al' would be covered here? We all know how those tropes have aged don't we..

I was £12 away from going blue at a liquid biopsy company this morning. It's fallen back now but keeping fingers crossed. Not long ago that seemed more of a lost cause (due to apparent lack of ability to commercialise) than AVCT. Just shows how things can turn around.

Anyway, I wrote asking for clarification as there isn't much detail and I've received this reply:

There is nothing that you need to do, you just have to buy or sell shares and £100 worth of the dealing charges would be refunded to you.

Another CC (Cheryl Calverley) wrote and spoke plenty on the demise of Eve Sleep after the event. She could've had NDA agreements in place with Bensons Beds as she worked for them for a while as they bought Eve out of admin. Different situations of course but people would still like to know AS's view I'm sure.

Could be PJT, but he also might want to be supportive of CC and people read between the lines. Depends on the way he went I guess.

I hope that CC / the BOD every opportunity to maximise license deals and protect themselves a bit better than before the raise. They might have learned an important lesson there.

Will we still get Director / PDMR RNSs if AS sells or buys AVCT stock? I also wouldn't be surprised if there's a final Paul Hill interview with AS where AS puts his side of the story (all in due course rather than in hours or days).

Piper, '"dividend" in the spin off ' would arrive in your account as 'free' shares in you account in the spun off company.

Theoretically your AVCT shares would drop in value by an equivalent amount.

That's been my experience anyway, when Tiziana left AIM for the Nasdaq, via a brief stint on the London main market. With TILS / $TLSA the spun off ACUT shares were not traded on an HMRC recognised market so the spun-off shares left my ISA for my Fund and Share account.

People say that the LFT was a failure but where would AVCT be now had the cash raises not taken place. Would AVCT have any money at all now? Hard to tell.

AS seems to manage, like a space ship uses the planets to sling-shot before heading into deep space, to use LFTs, PIs, to keep the company moving forward. Let's hope that speed is picked up rather than crashing into the surface due to orbit decay.
