Well I just bought a few more, on top of a top up a few days ago. Maybe this news will take a day or two to sink in, but even if it takes longer I should be fine.

Wyn, I sold all my AGL the day before you posted your comment here :-/ I'd made a small profit on my last buy and I thought it would fall back. But I put it somewhere that's currently up 10% so could be worse. I won't complain that I could've made more by staying when I still haven't lost.

I do feel that – and I am down on my last AVCT top-up – that things for my pf as a whole are bucking up. Several shares (including AVCT, after the pic of the metastasised SGC / skin clearing up) seem to have bottomed in SP or 'promise' and are on the up. If I were to think of my pf on a chart the trajectory is now gently up. (and I'm enjoying the snow at last.)

Dowgate have just over 11% of Xeros – Market capitalisation: £2.73 million – so a bigger punt than me if punt it is. They must have more than a hunch that something's coming that'll make them money.

My non-expert impression is that such treatments are typically reserved for patients with salivary duct carcinoma, not adenoid cystic carcinoma. Both are salivary gland cancers but have different characteristics.'

Does anyone know, would patients with Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma (ACC; which is 'one of the more common types of salivary gland cancer') get onto the AVA6k trial under SGC umbrella?
