Bullor: bear in mind that a lot of copper was missed from the assessment. The resource was so large that many holes could not be inter-linked with the next and consequently did not add to the overall sum of copper. If memory serve me, no copper was added from Ascot porphyry because of this issue. The real contained ore will be a lot higher than 1.3 MT but the overall grade was just a bit shy of making it feasible at the time. But - times they are a-changing.

I can only think that the lack of response of the sp to both WCS's success and the silver price is due to the markets lack of confidence in the board, or the fear that somehow WCS will find a way to walk away from the JV with all the goodies leaving UFO with nothing - or near enough nothing.

If the raise funds are wisely used to promote the antimony mine and mining does start as advertise next year then it could be a master move by CB. I know we all like to throw rocks and I, myself was mismayed when I saw a new prospect starting in Morocco but CB is right in saying that certain minerals like antimony are the geological 'rock stars' (see what I did there....) of the near future. I will keep hold of my rock until next year.

My hope here is that the raise, despite regular income from Manica is that some serious money was required to get an antimony mine off the ground. But if so, wouldn't it have been easier to have just identified the the funds for that purpose. Yes, there is a note desribing where the money would be used but not a reason Manica funds could not cover it.

Why the high trade, low volume action ?

I think you'll find that EV ownership is accelerating in Asia. Ignoring Evs, the third world wants a western lifestyle and that requires electrical grids and modern kitchen equipment. All requires copper.

As a show of progress it would have had more impact being delivered tomorrow morning.

The way I see it is that the board changes are either a spring-board to great things or the beginning of the end for UFO. Don't know at this time but as a LTH (all the way back to Arian days) who has averaged down over the years I only ever expected to reduce my loses. If things work out I could actually be up on paper - ignoring inflation. Include inflation and it would be difficult to come out ahead. But as I said, I'm looking to reduce my loses. Hoping for some results this week.....

This is a remarkable situation Alien find themselves in:

From a company that a few months ago had great assets but an inabilty to progress them we now have one which has admittingly a reduced onwership but one which is being explored very rapidly at no current cost with almost record breaking results in a juristiction that is considered to be one of the best in the world. On top of that, the progress is being achieved while the primary asset (silver) being found is having one of its multi-decade price surges with most pundits saying it has a lot further to climb. Seems like a very rare opportunity to me....

Also, on the subject of the sp, many holders are nursing losses. They hold as the sp rises then once it falters decide to sell as they are afraid there may not be a better opportunity. So, yes the price will consolidate at times but the direction is clear.
