I'm sad to have been proved so comprehensively right :( there's just a lot of multibagged shares released like a virus last week.

Just a storm we have to weather. There are a couple of very big bits of news on the horizon that will soak up this overhang then off we will go. Lots of assays, hole 25, gold production and revenue from africa.

Not sure about you guys but I'm already looking forward to the 12 drill assays of christmas, just had my first roast turkey stuffing and cranberry sandwich of the season from Sainsburys, definitely know what I want for Christmas.

just to say that these 2 x assay results, holes 10 and 13, are missing from the latest drill plan.

I'm sure its not a big deal but would be good to get it right for the next update.

Will have to look at the Jeremy Read you tube to try and get my head around the 2 hole announcements today, but hole 22 especially looking very promising and both adding to the resource.

Its a question of how far beyond 2mt in the open pit we can go - then the matter of the SE anomaly which would be the icing and the cherry on a substantial cake :)

We only have to look 70k up the road cadia, northparkes, to see that the porphry style, large volume lowish grade model works very very well.

Simplistic mining process if its close to the surface or "muck shifting" on a very grand scale in colin's words.

Quite a while back Colin stated that he's not worried about the grades too much, its about the volume. Every drill success is proving that volume to 2mt and beyond.

This share is not one for institutional investors so we will get buffeted with PI moode swings and herd chases- in this instance, as I said last week, could well be a lot of Prospectore holders taking some or all profit on unlocked shares.

Fair enough I bought quite a few off them today.

Its only when we have some nice clear pointers to the "realisation event" will this really zoom, pretty difficult to work out when that happens tho.

This is a monster resource, if you get impatient you might regret it.

I really think the prospects there pretty much underpin the share price as we are - that is once producition hits a decent level and the cash actually starts flowing. Empress also seem to have got themselves a decent deal at 2.25% of 95,000 oz of gold revenue, then 0.75% afterwards in perpetuity

Also thanks Iceberg, the new blog is great and holes 14 and 25 are going to be very interesting (along with all the others!) - turning into more of a no brainer with each result basically.

According to the various RNS re the prospectore purchase last year (the company that owned bushranger) there are around 50million 1.2p shares that were unlocked this week

- I’m sure many of these will be sold into good news announcements upcoming , which clearly drags the share price significantly, but also allows believers and newcomers to buy more at lower prices as the prize becomes more and more derisked. Need a couple of v big volume days to clear this overhang then we will really push on with the share price.

Colins words from the investor presentation a couple of weeks ago “we definitely definitely have 2 million tonnes, no doubt about it”

It’s really about how far beyond that figure we are going to go - today indicating again that it could be a long way past.

And it’s easily accessible. Great stripping ratio. Best a big road. Near a big city . In Australia.

Monty hole 14 is headed into the SE anomaly and is definitely one to look out for

Shorn I agree with that summary - these results are both greatly confirming resource in the open pit as well as confirming significant extension to it.

I have extracted some data from their April21 news release - to me at least these numbers are bigger than I thought or appear to be. It is also noted that work will be done to increase the totals.

I dare say Colin feels the need to keep the excitement level high, keep the interest up, keep the share price up so people don’t drift off to other opportunities.
I think that it’s tempting to look at other opportunities (there’s a few big gains being made elsewhere) but then it would be a huge mistake to be out of this one for those who know enough about it.
Price up 2mt plus - sell to a major - any strong signs we are getting closer to that outcome and this will leap like a salmon.

Eg a fully updated model could be ready right now - what if it already shows 2.5m? Colin would have loved to show that off but it potentially puts us in play with AA which he doesn’t want yet for a lot of good reasons .
He’s done an excellent job with this one so far so let’s continue to give full backing .

I think one thing that's highlighted today is that 50m plus shares on a 5 bagger can be traded from wednesday 27th

why wouldn't they sell that 50% they were able to ("when possible") -? April share price represented a 5 x profit for them lol

I'm pretty sure that Prospectore was closely held, a few large shareholders - it was a private company - just don't see any of them on the share register do you?

OK fine thanks Dibs, so he's held onto his, rightly so as he's running the show! only 11m shares though, just over 1% fully diluted.
- still of the opinion that most of the Ore bodies traded their shares when possible, eg Ian Wallace - might be holding through nominees I guess

but not sure what Jeremy Read has got to do with Prospectore shares? was he one of the guys bought out? don't think so.

per the xtr accounts/website there are only 2 individuals with 3%+ of the shares:

Mr Alex Terry (UK) 4.46 % - purchsed 2017

Mr Peter Hall (UK) 3.09% - think he is an aussie mining investor/entrepreneur - don't think he was at prospectore

I would think PO directors would have to disclose their XTR shareholdings if they were abover 3% as they were party to this significant takeover.

Edit on previous post - completion announced 27.10.20 so a year on Wednesday- 50% plus of PO shares out there it would appear .

We can safely assume then that at least half the PO shares have been sold, probably nearly all as they have multibagged easily 5 or 6 times over the last year plus.
I’m sure it’s been a drag on the price up until then tho
