You can’t really do the phase 2 drilling until you have the phase 1 assays can you.
Once you have the phase 1 assays you confirm your understanding of the geological model , add in the IP survey just carried out and then draw up a list of proposed drills .
It’s late may now do a July start to phase 2 would be a great result

Annoying as it might be to most of us and despite his suspect syntax the hottest Tony has called this correctly recently. I mean if the market was confident in the grades scope and marketability of this deposit we would be at 10p right ?

This 2 month unexplained delay with crucial results has dented momentum far more than average grades in hole 2 might have .

Unless there is a really really good reason for it , here’s hoping fingers crossed etc etc

How long does it take to collate hole 2 assays? which he clearly said would be released first and on their own and shortly, this was many weeks ago
You just publish them , the rest is game playing for one reason or another - let’s hope he’s playing games with a potential investor rather than us

Because there are no institutional investors in this stock CB thinks he can get away with pretty much whatever he wants in terms of shareholder comms .

I think 5% of shareholders would be needed to raise a motion at the AGM

No big mystery to this fall, next to no one is buying without the assay results which is perfectly reasonable- there’s always sellers every day for one practical reason or another.

If he’s held them back because they are poor it’s a huge mistake as we really have a right to know that and make an investment decision based on the facts .
I do find it difficult to believe that holes 2 and 3 results are not complete and with the company.
There needs to be a damn good reason for this massive and unexplained delay, would love to believe the negotiation theory, but why release that study yesterday in that case? Maybe puts more pressure on the buyer , but then again so would half decent assays as the price would pop up on certain knowledge of results.
Once again the only reassuring thing here is the 5.5 m raised from investors who are all under water .

today's just over 1m shares!

Another 7am passes and Friday never the best day to announce (good) news , so looking at next week now (again).
Better be a good old news bundle to justify this kind of delay from the predicted announcements- hope some good stuff going on behind the scenes . Main reassurance is that people stumped up £5.5 million a couple of weeks ago .

Very much agree Jwoz , we may not like the delay but I think it’s going to work out ok and Colin has to play his cards close to his chest in this kind of situation.
If it takes a couple or few more weeks from here to provide that proper analysis of what we have here, that’s ok

Hole 1 results were actually very good given the volume and position but for various reasons weren’t seen as such and we got sold down. Let’s get a much fuller and clearer view of what we have here and then let’s see what the market says.

Great analytical post iceberg- the possibility of Bushranger mark II is a game changing one - early days though as you say.

All we need is some confirmation that Manica will contribute a few hundred grand a month by year end and the African operations really underpinning this share price .

TBH I quite often forget where I left the remote and I'm 20 years younger than Colin, possibly he's just forgotten about XTR just now, happens to the best of us

I think that with every day/week that passes the chance increases of a bundle of bushranger updates in one go increases.
Not particularly well handled process but when that bundle lands I’m hoping no one will care (those that hold shares that is )

Sure if we are all holding here we have belief in the end game of getting bought out by AA or another in 18 months or 2 years.

That doesn't mean that our Board shouldn't be doing what they say they will in the meantime. After Bushranger Xtract has become a different beast (its been worth 5 or 6 times as much for a start). So what was OK for the alluvials annouuncements a couple of years back ("sorry the results are late, but it rained a lot and we made no money") are not acceptable now.

I'm totally fine with there being gaps in news, no news is fine . but dont raise expectations and make predictions and promises that don't get realised, pretty amatuer and misleading actually.

Just means credibility just gets lost in front of a much bigger audience and much less chance of the share price gaining traction, and not everyone wants to hang around for the full 2 years.

I would be mighty peed off if an XTR update was a line dropped into an update for another company, given what is at stake and how long we have already had to wait.
I think shareholders here are due an update one way or another - nightmare backlog at the assays lab, ok no problem but let us know - prefereably stick to the clear guidance that these assay results are due and in fact v overdue.
