excellent presentation *doffs cap* very clear strategic explanation of the potential and the reasoning for this open pit modelling process.

One thing that was only touched on a little would be the depth side of things in the current resource: you have the current jorc pretty much taking care of the investment requirement ++ the exciting anomalies to the south east ++ the grade improvement within the currently modelled jorc

++ the somewhat lower grade extensions at depth below the higher grade proposed open pit that can be mined at a relatively low variable costs, once open pit exhausted

so 3 or 4 major upsides to be explored, really difficult to predict how big this gets now

fantastic to see the 3D, been gagging for that for months and the pictures tell many thousand words

I don’t quite see the point in “revealing “ that at a lower cut off/ higher POC the original jorc just might be worth mining. But it’s pretty marginal and $1.5bn would no doubt find a better home elsewhere.

We are interested in the increasing size of the resource and at least some scenarios of what an open pit might look then and the economics to go with.
On an initial reading This really doesn’t add to much to the investment case. Surely the focus should be on building a model of the expanded resource and what the economics of that would be ?

Hope I’m missing something more here.

I think the XRF was only used and results shared on hole 1 - to be fair that grade average of .33% or similar average wasnt far off the xrf readings.
i think there were no more shared.
But there was a lot of talk in interviews about high grades .4% etc on the subsequent holes that for the most part haven't materialised

I do believe that Phase 2 is going to get very interesting. The icing on the cake for me would be another CB share purchase of a couple of million shares - would eally ignite this after a couple of phase 2 holes completed.

I suppose the open pit feasability study might come back soon

its been a succesion of underwhelming or bad RNS reported at XTR interspersed with a couple of optimistic "what might happen next" interviews. Recent CB predictions around grade and timings have been very distant from reality, so no surprise no one is buying, even at these levels.
Need some nice objective, credible facts about progress: drilling programme; model to date at Bushranger and proper financial projections for Manica hardrock before this is seen to be worth buying into.

The Manica hardrock income is really important to the financial dynamics of xtr over the next 12 months, so I really hope you are wrong Dibs!
no asteroid strike but a double typhoon hit seem to have caused big delays - but a Q3 (2021! :)) start envisaged, ie within 3 months thereby should be some significant income pre year end which is good to hear and ties in with the Empress Royalty
data.
IF that income starts arriving then this share does become a v strong buy again

This share price is as much about the potential positive african cash flow as anything else right now.

A good prognosis on Manica income of a few £100ks per month by year end would make a massive difference.

One thing for sure there seems to be a lot of work to be done to prove the 2mt - as far as I can see holes 5 and 6 didn't really add much to that prospect - but the second drilling programme, surveys and 3d modelling stand a very good chance of doing so - given time and probably some more money than already raised - so it is really all about Manica. If thats a year away then yes a raise pretty likely at some point, so that news will be pivotal - the delay isn't encouraging tbh

How many months since holes 5 and 6 were completed? We are very close to Q3 and not a word on Manica , nothing at all.

good to see that Jeremy Reid has got a good holding worth £450k or so currently, plus a load of options I should imagine.

I think patience will be rewarded in the next few months as phase 2 unfolds. It will be much better targeted and start infilling the 2mt ++, hopefully for an open pit mine which really would be an added bonus.

Only thing I will say about news flow is that when Colin needed to raise funds to secure the drilling programme (£10million raised) he banged the drum pretty hard .

Now xtr actually has the funds to do what it needs, ie prove up bushranger - it’s a long term play as usual. Would I have loved to be buying at 4p rather than 6 or 7p which I did for some of my holding , of course.

The planning and drilling of phase 2 is underway . updates on Manica will arrive , later than we want of course. Cb may be waiting until he can give a definitive date for cash flow there rather than more guesstimates - would be fine by me.

Volume is very low and hot money left the party a long time ago, but she could be back brandishing a bottle so lambrini before we know it

I have quite a significant holding like yourself and I’m sure if a few of us got together then the 5% for an agm proposed resolution (I believe) would not be beyond us.
Like many here I’m particularly interested in a very long overdue update on Manica cash flows . The plan was and should still be that they prevent further dilution and fun Bushranger and Eureka beyond the substantial sum raised recently (£10m).
At the moment we are pinning our hopes on Empress royalties statements which isn’t good enough.
Not even sure if there is a PM facility on LSE?

We probably have £7million in the bank
We have an underpinning of minimum of 3p for xtr from the African assets. Of course confirmation of production date for maniac would be very helpful in that regard

At bushranger we are plotting very large extensions to the existing resource at very mineable grades. We have 2 more assays from phase 1 to come and the ability to target the next 6 holes more precisely to maximise the discovery.

I do think a good look at the diagrams as JDAU points out is the way forward. These drill positions are a bit different to how I personally had visualised them and are testing successfully for the significant extension. Likewise holes 5 and 6 are indicated which show the porphyry extending back to shallower depths it appears.

It has been said on here a lot that proper value for xtr won’t start being realised until the end of the year at least and that’s still the case.

I think the Colin Bird age factor is a strong motivator for a quick deal here, should that be possible.

time is money and I'm sure most of us wouldn't mind a "discount for cash now" kind of deal

I suppose the lower the share drops the more us PIs would be gagging to say yes to 15p a share and agree to it (might well suit colin and definitely AA) whereas 8 weeks ago it might have been 40p or bust mate from most of us.

Steve I appreciate that in a buy out process the detail of the discussions are private as well as the finer details of a company's financial position and management forecasts.
But we are talking here about basic and critical financial information about XTR which have been promised to the markets, ie assay grades. No way we can be party to detailed deal discussions, or even that a deal is being discussed, but our own assay results? This is not data that should be contracted to be held back, although possibly this being done purely tactically by our Board.

This explanation of a deal being done doesn't fit the bill IMHO, but I really hope I am wrong of course (as long as its a good deal of course!)
My money is on the CB CBA theory and a bottle of rescue remedy.

Don't want to be pedantic (maybe I do) but the NDA would cover the negotiations themselves, who they were with, the assets under discussion etc, NOT some critical bit of company data such as what copper we actually have in holes 2 to 6. So that some third party we might do a deal with gets to see that but not the legal owners, ie us, do not?

How can he get near agreeing a deal if his own shareholders are not party to such critical info? Nuts

My nest hope here is that CB CBA to tell us that the assays are really badly delayed and that hes busy with BEZ, GLE etc

Can’t quite believe that it’s nearly June and we are sat here without hole 2 and 3 assay results. Without a single word to explain the delay.
Unless there is a v v good reason we are unaware of this is a complete disregard of shareholders interest.
If it’s just a lab delay then he could have saved a lot of people on here quite a lot of stress with a one-liner.
By product of course is that people are scared to touch this with absolutely zero info on assays.
