The Ascot hole 35 is a really great result. It definitely does warrant putting more holes into that area to demonstrate to a purchaser the scale and quality of the discovery.

The good news is that we have strong revenue from Africa incoming which gives us a s trong cash and thereby negotiating position with a large miner.

We have to mind the Gap and have agood look at the bit between RC and Ascot - drilling 20 or so more holes in this region and Ascot might take 2 or 3 months plus assays, which would coincide nicely with a potential negotiation starting with "put up or shut up" to AA by June 2022.

If the results in Ascot etc are truly stonking I'm sure no one will mind that timescale slipping a little, more will be paid, and if Africa revenue is anything like expected no raise will be needed.

These are great results showing income of over $300k per month without the hard rock gold ops and Zambia .
From the AGM I remember Joel the FD saying that selling the gold and repatriation of cash is a tortuous admin process . It’s also indicative that they have plenty of cash to hand that they haven’t rushed to sell and bring the cash out .

Colin probably also feels that gold price might be on the up .

Tbh I’m pretty pleased that Manica production is coming on stream within 2 months, so Q1. Considering omicron must have had some effect it’s looking good.
Of course the cash in back will trail somewhat but at least we know it’s coming - honestly XTR could probably take a loan against 2022 revenue once successful production is concerned - if we were running short of cash which I don’t see , unless there is a third massive porphyry perhaps !

the hangover Prospect ore shares have had enough time to get sold off in the last couple of months + even at 2m a day volume . PO holders who wanted to sell probably have by now. The sensible big holders like Quentin and Jeremy still hold on to them!

the next couple of strong RNS will be met with less gravitational aftermath IMHO. Confirmed gold, confirmed assays will see to that.

755k ounces is open pit only measured and indicated gold - how long it takes to get out is anyone’s guess but it does very much appear to be there and the facility to mine it is virtually built

1000$ after costs is possibly quite conservative at $1800 gold but this figure is up for debate until after maybe a years mining

There is deeper gold at a higher cut off too

So I’ve written down a possibly conservative overall $176m to say $100m over x years

But that is net net money to xtr so no further costs

been thinking about xtr as the turkey (guinea fowl actually) slowly washed its way through my system aided by various fortified wines and waitrose no 1 mince pies (they are fantastic and I dont even like mince pies)

From all the calculations of Empress royalties there is at very least $100m of NET revenue from Fairbride gold coming to XTR in the next few years , maybe quite a lot more. As its just a regular guaranteed payout you theoretically need just a part time accountant to run the books if thats the only resource XTR had.

That gold more than supports today's share price c £40m

so really we are getting bushranger (and zambia) for less than nothing at todays prices.
I have always been of the opinion that Colin wants this wrapped sooner rather than later, maybe first half 2022.

so might not be much longer to get in at such a very low price
