I've been looking at the RNSs for GLR to see if it says somewhere that mining aiming to commence H1 at Luansobe. I remember seeing or hearing this somewhere. Is that the consensus here or is that a bit too optimistic given there are a few hurdles to jump prior?

I do recognise the good moves Colin has made to move the project along in Oz and get Manica up and running, but I feel he needs to hear that this latest chasing of new rainbows is not acceptable to many significant shareholders and he needs to listen to that :)

It still looks better than evens that there is a commercial viable deposit at bushranger - but as the model currently shows 1.1m its going to be a slower process and with less potential upside
2.5p is pretty oversold with a c £20m market cap when the gold side should show net £6m profit or so for a good number of years

but credibility has been shot here after - "read my lips we have 2mt" around a year ago from Colin at the investor presentation - Zak was there in person for that - perhaps he could have mentioned it?

I may be wrong on the mine life, 7 years? - certainly MMP have an initial minimum 10 year agreement to process at Manica plus an option to extend

yes even discounting those figures by a chunk leaves us with a very solid base here - great position to be able to prove more in oz without raising cash while other drills may be lying idle with other explorers finding it hard to raise in the current market.
there is also more gold at Manica to be mined to extend the 5 year mine life - potentially a lot, allied with some investment in a multipurpose mining plant there

the £10m :
100kg of gold per month from Fairbride, currently thats worth around £4.6million per month . we are on 23% of some significant operating profit element of that (don't have all details to hand) but guestimate 23% of $1000/$1780 x 4.6m$= c$1m per month (as believably quoted by CB and audited by this board as an upper figure)

If you add in the alluvials income plus other african income which MAY avail in next few months then $900k per month appears definitely achievable x 12 = $10,800
will soon be GBP dollar parity so there you go.

Agree with a lot of that Prickly, we might get a ceasefire relatively soon. The war must be crushing the Russian economy, Afghanistan (plus Chernobyl and generally being broke) did for the USSR in the 80s. At some point soon Putin will start to realise that a pyrrhic victory is better than none as the number of Russian dead and their economic crisis grow.

Britain looks like its getting trussed up but that shouldn't affect the copper price too much!

My bigger concern is actually the Chinese property bubble currently bursting, which has in fact started in earnest already.

I like the sound of 100kg of gold per month which is approx £4.6m at todays price @ 23% is over £1million GBP per month plus AOB in Africa, should be £12million net per annum
For 5 years minimum
Plus the other deposits in Manica

Current market cap £34 million

good article in FT on Dr Copper saying what most of us are saying, massive upcoming demand for the metal, uncertain new supply sources and big lead times to get new resources up and running, jurisdictional risks etc

I personally don't think there are any formal discussions underway. Bad time to do it as a rejection by AA could lead to a very low ball offer for the entire company.

This would be a nice time for Colin to step in and get a couple of million shares at a bargain basement price.

Worth bearing in mind too that when the potential at Bushranger was first revealed in Jan 21 with that first hole , the POC was below 8,000$ per tonne . Didn’t stop the share price hitting 9p briefly.

If Colin gets Bushranger sold off within 2 years of that initial hole I personally think that would be a brilliant achievement, especially given a few horrible macro factors.

Yes he’s a salesman and a big talker but he delivers (ask jubilee/ kiwara) and a v good negotiator-

I think this could be the case, Colin has been very circumspect recently. Perhaps on some of the drill results he had reason to be but Fairbride starting is a very different matter.
It is now a steal at 4.80 with pretty much confirmed $10m plus net a year incoming , plus a potentially huge asset in oz and more copper in Africa .
Good time to buy for those in the know.

If non fairbride production is running at $250k per month average per month that’s still a nice $3million pa profit and cash-flow

I’m sure there will be profitable output from fairbride over the next 3 months as it cranks up could easily be looking at $1.5 million plus net over that quarter for all of manica with a good weather alluvials quarter
