why would AA or anyone pay anything for as yet unproved asset? Its already established that this is a high risk PI investment vehicle, of no interest to institutional investors, which will only be in a play with a fully updated resource model is produced supported by a full set of assays , no chance of that prior to q2 minimum - snap buyout for 10p or something for the whole company just isn't going to happen (much as some might wish that).

But equally valuations at 20p or 30p using the "discounted cornford model" are all very well and good, but life isn't like that - there needs to be at least one company actively interested in purchasing xtr for that to come into play

I said a while back that an opportunistic swift cash offer of 15p for Bushranger, after a fully updated model with assays, would probably be acceptable to the majority, I would certainly think hard about it.

personally i think meaningful gold production commencing at manica will be the caatalyst for a big rise.

simply, its going to be more than 500mt , Colin has talked about finding up to 1 billion in the open pit area at the presentation.

I do also think that a lot of the drilling has been looking for extensions and the edges of the conceptual open pit , quite likely therefore that lower grades being encountered. in the open pit area itself I think we would be looking at closer to .40% cueq as an average

Nothing has changed here apart from one non-spectacular RNS ( and looking at its position on the drilling map and its angle etc I don't see how it can be considered bad).

there will no douby be some wavering historic multi-baggers for whom the lack of fireworks today was a sign to cash in.

does anyone have an opinion as to whether Colin Bird buying some more shares now would be acceptable from a regulatory standpoint, with new assays and plan close? Obviously would be a great to see Colin coming in for another million or two shares at such levels - might be not allowed though with the substantial newsflow due any time .

we've had 13 assay results I think and there are 32 holes completed or drilling (less one aborted) plus the revised resource model incoming. A lot to come before christmas I think with at least one wrapper of a pit model.

Africa is getting there and at least we can be 90% + sure it WILL produce significant regular income some time in the next 6 months.

This has by no means always been the case.

In my opinion, given we had £8million GBP at the end of june which equates to 40,000 plus metres drilling from that point onwards (assuming current gold profit more or less covers corporate overheads), we have more than enough cash to keep us going until the other assets are full steam ahead and producing very chunky monthly cash flows.

Everything very well set up.

The way I looked at it was the cash at bank of £ 8 million at end June 2021 which was available for phase 2 and onwards - that’s over $10 m or 43000 m of drilling if overheads are covered by gold .

I think there is plenty of cash well into 2022 and beyond existing phase 2 drill programme

Beyond 43k metres this will be a totally different animal or belong to another company I would think

I do actually think we are not far from the point of being able to present a fully fledged model of the open pit resource to the market , especially once a lot of the assays that are now due are included.

Who knows , perhaps this is in preparation. But such a presented model might arguably be the same as saying to AA “we have 2mt” at which the various deal mechanisms creak into action.

Remember we are in that card game now - Colin doesn’t actually need to raise money (probably) to get the deal done so current share price is not a massive problem in terms of exit .

I think he wanted to give a clear signal to LTH to forget 10p etc - that’s appreciated . Beyond that he doesn’t really need a 10p + share price , it will all be about the deal.

There was a strong implication that the valuation could be 5p, at least on a cursory read - that coming from a poster who was getting much credit from the ceo himself and who had strongly implied he believes in the strong possibility of 40p on the past.

So of course such a v great apparent volte face put the cat amongst the pigeons .

Personally I didn’t take much notice , but I’m glad it was clarified later as a somewhat academic and therefore irrelevant exercise in the context of an actual negotiation

Clearly that’s the calculated punt that investors are taking here at 3 , 4, 5, 6p that they sift the comments of the ceo and colleagues, gather other evidence .

It’s pretty axiomatic that with a fully jorc 3 million tonnes and or discussions entered with AA we would be probably north of 15p

On average with bushranger Colin has delivered a great drill programme and quickly , assays have sometimes been delayed but overall the communication has been good .

Several years ago the company was in pure survival mode so cb probably amped and over promised just to keep a few quid in the bank and the show on the road .

he's extremely confident in the scale that we have and of course he is inevitably going to be the best informed person with the lastest and most detailed data - he's very confident indeed and I think we should be too

I always find it interesting to consider that whilst all the elctrification of vehicles is wonderful (and good for copper $) and good for reducing car emissions - when you plug that car into the socket it charges on electricity that has to be errr generated somehow - seems to me that without very significant nuclear power there will inevitably be a great shortfall in energy generation if coal gas (less so) and oil are not allowed in power stations and oil doesn't power cars.

maybe the future is super efficient storage batteries inc solar which can store renewables power which currently is in a "use it or lose it" situation, and also of course a small and expensive % of the pie.

I agree News, I can't see him letting it go for much less than 25p. He's also got a bunch of options at 10p to consider.

Similar to the "there's definitely definitely 2mt" comments the 20p - 45p price range comments were also expunged from the Director's Cut.

(I think , unless they were in the Q&A, the 2mt comment was def in the main presentation - when you think about it that is a HUGE statement - we ALREADY hit the threshold)

As usual it will be sold for whatever someone is willing to pay for it , forget all the valmin stuff. If AA fancy it £50m won’t bother them either way , even £100m - if they don’t they don’t then we need other bidders - if there are , which there should be then it’s all about negotiating.
I’m pretty confident that CB will get us a good deal , he knows how to negotiate by now , I mean he’s been called crafty and worse on here a few times :)

African gold - big numbers emerging from there don’t just massively underpin the current silly 5p valuation , they potentially add £100 to the sale price of bushranger as we will in no way be a forced seller and all the big boys will now that .

Naturally enough the posters on this board debate quite excitedly about the prospects of the share they have purchased .

Err why else have a board? As has been said many times today , reasonable criticism is welcomed and debated her - I love that and have had quite a few moans with good reasons in the past - because I hold the share and want it to do well.

I also recognise its AIM , it’s PI driven and quite illiquid, you HAVE to have a longer term outlook and accept the ups and downs.

Or try to be a smartie and trade it . But then accept when it goes against you which it will do randomly at this level.

Or try and short/deramp it to get better in cheap and honestly you guys stick out a mile .

Your arguments don’t stack up because they can’t - it’s clear , short term selling on PO shares release , beyond that the case is being built brilliantly well by cb and the team - but don’t listen to me read the RNS and the third party assays .
