I do generally agree (from painful experience) that you shouldn't take words on a podcast or AGM from CB as anywhere near fact - however on this occasion we have an RNS confirming the mining license.

And we had the previous RNS for the £250k investment very recently at a premium (3.8) with significant warrants expiring in jan 2025 - bzt have also had plenty of time to line up the necessary backing and agreements so on balance I think this will progress quickly - lets see

Possibly Analytical got outed as having multiple accounts and got booted by admin - analyse that!

As per the podcast and the jorc it’s 190,000 t of contained cu or $2bn in the ground at 9k copper - plus lots of additional potential

I think the process will now move quickly - whoever put the £250k in may be involved in the financing and they will want to be exercising their warrants by Jan 2025

It takes ok forever and but it’s happened at last. Great news.

Agree that the impact is lost as obviously LSE is the target audience, but personally a chance to add a few more. probably not BZT fault on this occasion, more like on LSE.

Possibility that whoever is behind the £250k would also be involved in further funding of H & G therefor the short stop date of Jan 25 encourages the new investor to put up further monies to announce mining plan? therefore their warrants would certainly become valuable should all that happen by end 2024.

There are also another 500m warrants expiring Jan 25 at 5 which is about 3 or 4% of the enlarged share capital - not sure what to make of that but I am sure the new investor will expect significant progress before then

I think its unlikely this guy or whoever is behind his company invested £250k at 3.5 unless he was pretty sure the license is incoming v soon. Otherwise why do it.

I don't blame you 3card. There was talk at Cape Town Indaba and on various podcasts of Ongombo being in production by q1 2025 and there is minimal progress towards that. Another disappointment and once again, why make such predictions? Credibility quickly going out of the window.

the FQ drills have been mentioned again in the interim report but where are the results?

If there is a deal incoming there will be plenty of buys as glr historically has been a leaky ship (like most of them). Not huge buying but could be the start of something.

Just checking that we are awaiting mining license on option 2? or at least part of it, any expectations on timescales as that would be a big factor imo

One of the problems here is that cb pretty much has absolute power at the companies he runs , there’s no one able to say oi focus on one or two key projects and get them done. Barring a bit of twitchiness come the agm votes he’s free to do what he wants.

He clearly does have an awful lot of plates to spin - average 4 projects each in at least in 6 aim companies he is executive chair of.

In glr for sure funds and attention should be FULLY on moving Luansobe forward to being sale ready or into production with 3rd parties .

Is it fair to say that getting the mining license for the underground element also makes a big difference to the chances of selling it on?

-he’s always looking for the next big thing and I bet he’d v focussed on the Great Game on the NW Frontier.
