Correct there is no immediate money for Pulawy (or any of the projects). But the announcement says there is a subgroup going to meet soon to discuss financing options for the projects, which may include regional funds etc. And they will be fast-tracked through planning and permitting, which greatly reduces risk and costs overall. So it's very significant.

The more I think about it the more likely it seems. We (or at least I) have been surprised that it's taken 2 months to announce the SPAC definitive agreement, after our CEO was in New York discussing the agreement on 20th January. It seems clear that they strongly suspected they would get an EU grant, which would make a material difference to the SPAC listing value. So perhaps we will see the definitive agreement in the next 2 weeks now??

Great news about Pulawy. As mentioned it directly improves the viability of Songwe, but obviously Pulawy can take MREC from other projects worldwide. In the old saying it's "selling picks and shovels" rather than taking the risk on individual mines.

Have we got a number for the amount being awarded by the EU to Pulawy?

I'm just a newbie here but these are my basic thoughts...

Assuming that the 2 businesses bought last year do indeed cover central costs and maybe make a bit of profit... So no more equity raises unless there's a very good profit-enhancing reason...

Assume a round number of 250M shares...

Assuming that high-quality high-margin recurring revenues will be rated at a p/e of 20 by Mr Market...

Assuming that within 2 years Croda is selling £200m of our product and we have a royalty of 12.5%...

Then that's an SP of £2 a share.... Almost a 10-bagger from here!

Plus they could easily return 6p per share in divis on those numbers... A 27% return...

And of course there could easily be upside from £200m of sales....

The problem with this is that it will simply force the Chinese govt politically into seizing US-owned assets in China as retaliation. Trump's trade war could be about to turn into a vicious spiral which can only have one end...

The seller only has (maximum) 7 sessions left after today to offload any last handful of shares...

I think a reasonable minimum SP expectation would be 30p for every $billion of the initial claim amount? That's around 10% risk valuation (30p is around $100m market cap). And while the eventual award will probably be less than the claim, the level of certainty will obviously be 100%...

Good post. If Trump blocks the use of Songwe for America because it's outside the US borders, in a "sh*thole country" as he would call it, then Europe will gladly take it up. We have just as much need of ex-China REEs as the US... As shown by Pensana...

The seller is still there, but the volume spike in the last couple of days is telling its own story of what's about to happen imo... I would think a quick return to 6p when the seller finishes, and if it's accompanied by Medicare approval then back to 10p... Just my view of course, no advice

I would hope to see a push into the 20p's area on this run, personally. I don't think that's excessive, if we hope that (in a rarity for Aim) we might genuinely be valued US-style on proper future value, given the macro/political situation and our exclusive licence for the patented tech.

200k buy, not massive in the scheme of things but it's the first time that there's been an intraday recovery for weeks... Let's see if there are any dregs of the big seller still left... If not then I think there could be a good bounce here ... The Medicare approval must surely be very close?
