The Discussion on the advhn BB is good and I also found the write up by Ihardy on the Mike Walters site very interesting and inspiring. That excitement in contrast to the limited share buying and selling is stark.

The new company Chairman gave the impression at the AGM that loose ends were being tied and we would not have long to wait for the news as they had turned a corner. It does appear to be that those were empty gestures to pacify the AGM. It is very disappointing how they repeatedly do this. No wonder the share price is in the doldrums.
I know it's been said that we don't need a placing and I never heard bake about the reason why Tom Winfrith thought a placing was coming. You know I would not be surprised if there is a placing, not for the reason I anticipate Tom suggests but to let a big partner in. It would explain the news drought and the Finance officer's options sale. With all that potential 2017andonwards stated it does appear that they are in no hurry to see the SP rise.
Where have they gone wrong? They got to cosy in their slippers and employed only people who bowed to their lofty public school inner circle mentality while the M&S demagraphic drops of a cliff. They failed to see the iceburg and only have the Food business as a lifeboat. I wish them well as they do good Clementines at xmas but they are slow to recognise market trends. How much Organic are they selling for example. Lost opportunities from people used to buying confectionary by the quater.
That is a very good summing up 2017andonwards but I'm not a subscriber to Toms work so have not heard the counter points he is making to support his placing argument. Gemstar would you mind giving some more of the detail. Thanks in advance.
