Craig,
I wish to express my utmost displeasure at the permanent ban that has been imposed on a user today, by the name of Yaki, over a post that was made on the Kibo board.
I can categorically assure you that the content or the implied content that was shared with the board was freely in the public domain and came from a tweet from someone called Thabit Senior, who resides in Tanzania and whom many Kibo board members follow, as he provides on the ground insight into government goings on, certainly nothing “inside” I can assure you.
I appreciate your moderators cannot distinguish between what is inside info and what is not and you rely solely on a couple of nameless individuals who collaborate to have posts removed for reasons that I can only assume do not comply with their own agendas.
Personally, I can guess exactly who those individuals are and why they take a negative view against Yaki, whom I hasten to add is a very long term investor in Kibo and a valuable contributor to the Kibo board.
I always believed this board and this country in fact was a place of free speech, but clearly it is becoming a bit like North Korea, where certain individuals seemingly have carte blanch to dictate the sentiment of boards to meet their personal agendas whenever they are challenged.
I sincerely hope you receive a number of similar mails from other board contributors who are as equally disappointed with LSE as I am.
i would respectfully ask that you reconsider your actions today as they are totally inappropriate
best regards
