RE: So after the20 Oct 2018 10:34
Pauly, I think we all feel the pain, but I genuinely do not believe this has anything to do with LC or Kibo or even how far advanced the MCPP is. I think you may find that the GoT are desperate for external funding, i.e World Bank, and they will have due diligence processes, actually probably more than the likes of SEPCO have to. You may find that the hoops the GoT have to go through to get funding may also have changed and they now insist that this tender process is necessary to ensure that any funds provided are targeted towards REAL guaranteed projects. All too often in that region of the world, aid is poured in, in good faith and then squirrelled away through corruption. So we may find out this is all part of an unexpected but necessary process. If kibos fundamentals are as robust as we believe they are, then I don't see any reasons why they won't come to fruition. And if Kibo is the only CPP involved in the tender, then it shouldn't be too difficult. I'd also expect LC to be right in the thick of any financing deals, remember NRF are the advisors to the GoT and were advisors to Kibo. I bet Kibo was advised to distance themselves from NRF last year exactly for that reason. Transparency !!
Sit on your hands, load up if you can and relax. There's no real problems in my opinion. I trust LC implicitly
