I actually agree with him, and no the evidence is not undeniable. The fact that records do not date back long enough to establish categorically that the melting of the ice cap is not just cyclical cannot be proved. It is therefor quite convenient to use this period of global temperature increase for political purposes and in most instances for tax generation by governments.The planet warms and cools over millions/trillions of years, that's what it does, the evidence is there in black and white. The ice age was followed by the temperate climate we have now, interspersed with shorter periods of extremes, El Nino and La Nina control these. Only as recently as 1600, the Thames froze and it will probably freeze again.
Anyway, it makes a change arguing the toss over when not if the SML/PPA/FC/ETC will land, all driven by coal
