Colorado will be producing and commercial withing the next three months and after the drill of another 9 wells (9 -12 months max) will be contributing $8m towards income.

Rukwa is expected to be producing within 12 months of the eventual ML award.

If the TG take more tan 16% they have contribute commensurately to dev costs.

The BoD have said that the Rukwa development will be funded with a combination of Debt finance JV and equity and the $75 -100m will only be required over an extended period

After BoD acceptance of the "offer" the BoD did state that the award was a given and should come very soon thereby enabling the BoD to continue with further appraisal of the assets and full scale development, so I presume we are now on that 12 month runway; though to what extent they can commit capital to that activity without the award and a CPR is questionable.

I bought a few more earlier at 0.779p (too few unfortunately as cash fully committed) and already showing a profit.... just as well we didn't all wait for the 0.050p that the scaremongers were touting eh?!

Not quite true Folio; the BoD could call for an EGM to gain the permissions it needs for a new share issue. Though I do not think that will happen for quite a while yet, if at all.

The BoD have stated that they could be in production at Rukwa within 12 months of the ML award by which time they will be close to, if not already, receiving an surplus income from Colorado.

As regards the TG stake in the project, no it cannot be over 50% or they would become the "operator" and, in any event if they take more than 16% they will be required to part fund the development of the project.

I think the principle reason is that between now and any material increase in income that might accrue from the drilling of three new wells, income will exceed expenditure quite considerably, necessitating another capital raise and likely as not at a considerable discount. So why will anyone be looking to buy this before that (inevitable) cap raise? If not the sp will continue top fall as people lose patience and look at alternative homes for their cash - and after the rout of the markets we have seen over recent days there will be ample opportunity for "bottom fishing". Can anyone be confident that SYN has reached the bottom?

I think there is a point in selling - why sit on your hands and watch the sp erode yet further when you could be using the money elsewhere in the meantime - those shares I sold two weeks ago have brought be in a fair return in the interim. I can put the sum to use over the next 6 months and will look to buy back after the next cap raise; if they can get someone to fund it?!?
