Will ARA go to market for a new drill or wait until the M&P drill is available? I suggest the latter. Even if they identify an alternative and suitable drill, will it be available, contracted and in Tanzania much before the M&P drill is available? I doubt it. And that M&P drill will be far more cost effective; set up, tested, in country and close by.

However, I may of course be wrong. After all I was wrong on the date for the pipeline initiation - I thought March early April 2025 and they have both passed. That said, not as wrong as those that suggested it would be started at some point in 2025.... 😉

Well, yesterday's flurry of activity and publicity was somewhat unprecedented and had an immediate beneficial effect in attracting interest and focus on Scancell. It wasn't going to last indefinitely.

However that publicity hasn't totally disappeared Scancell being flagged by BioIndustry Association; see below.

Quite right EE, there will be a multitude of private investors who have been underwater ever since they subscribed to the Cap Raise in early December. Some of those who didn't take advantage of the short term profit opportunity after the raise will , no doubt, be doing so now on the back of the current sp rise. It is for this reason that yesterday's news was never likely to push the sp much beyond 11/12p without that overhang being soaked up first. Let's hope most are sitting on their hands and waiting for the trial results; after all they should not be too long now.

Or are we still sharing the same drill and having to wait to drill CH1 until 2026? I know which I will be anticipating.

WTP, actually picked up 40k at 8.20p but am grossly overweight in SCLP after subscribing for 25,000 at the Cap Raise thinking that was 25,000 shares only to fins that, in reality, it was £25,000! Thankfully that number was significantly cut down (60% from memory). And yes am still underwater as just under half of my (our) 360,000 shares (principally those in my wife's name) bought at 14p and above.

Oh and Laura "bitter" and "untrustworthy"?! 😆I hope your judgement of shares is better than that of your fellow posters....

You totally miss the point Fonzi, but I not surprised. You seriously think the MM's are going to go short by 2.5 million shares? Only if they think they can but them back cheaper, or have already accumulated them at a price below that 10.03p, which they cannot have done today - there weren't enough traded at below that price. So I rather hope they didn't sell them to that 10.03 p "buyer" otherwise the sp is going down tomorrow.

And that proves what exactly? Willing buyer willing seller works both ways and is indicative of exactly nothing....

Moon party it is true that we will never know what that trade was BUT the sp reached a MID price above 10.0p within an hour of opening and trade volumes of circa 500k by that point. So where would the MM's have got 2.5 million shares at a price below 10.03p after that point in the day, that they could then sell on? Are you suggesting that the MM's would fill a BUY order at 10.03 that they accumulated at higher prices and lose money on the trade?

Whatever the answer, it is now water under the bridge trade filled and price 11.0 -11.75p. Let's see what tomorrow brings.
