Oh I am not intending selling Fonzi, I bought here for the trial results and a subsequent buyout - today's news and the sp rise hasn't changed that plan one iota.....

I would agree and we all have high expectations of success miavoce, that's why we are (or remain) invested. Today's news reinforces that confidence. But it is investment that we need and in whatever way that comes. I am confident that will happen and today's news adds to that confidence but ultimately it will be the investment that is the proof of the pudding - today's news is great but this recipe still requires some time in the oven before we get to eat the rewards.

Potential is and always has been great - a partnership with CVLP is great too but SCLP will still have to prove everything up via the trials before they can monetise anything! They need large scale investment, JV, partnership or buyout - the CVLP isn't giving them any of that and that is the only thing that will "move the dial here".

So Fonzi you keep pumping today's news and we long term shareholders will concentrate on what matters.

Exactly Pic12 nearly 6 million traded today and still with another hour to go - there are only two days in the last 12 months when there has been a higher trade volume 🙄.

Hardly surprising it is not very often when a relatively small company like Scancell get's the sort of publicity that it has received today, totally unprecedented in Scancells' history. And whilst I would be the first to agree that a 19% rise on the day is fantastic I am not the slightest bit surprised that it hasn't done more. Today's news is really good news and the publicity exceptional but, at the end of the day the balance sheet is the same as it was on Friday, the income has not changed and everyone is still looking at what the next lot of trial result are and what they might generate in terms of income, future profitability, investment and, who knows a take-over; today's events might bring forward trial dates, add weight to expectations and credibility but the "numbers" haven't changed.

Risk is in the eye of the beholder toothick2think. It is evident that your appetite for risk is minimal, so move on and buy some National Savings Certs, they are far more up your alley; and you might even understand them a little better.

Any rise is a good rise and I am very happy to see it but I am still looking forward to mid year for the real prize though.

I see some purchases at 11:00p - will that be today's high water mark? How many will see this as an opportunity to take some money off the table? Quite a few I fear, as it looks tempting after the one way sp slide of the last six months.

%ages, yes, multiples, I doubt; though I would absolutely love to be proven wrong - it would be great to get back into positive territory again and will need nearly 100% for that.... That is why I say that it will need the trail results to achieve that mid teens sp methinks.

I would agree with C11 to a large but then SCLP is a very different company today than previously. There would have been little that a more commercially focused CEO is likely to have been able to achieve with the company's "products" at their various stages of development. With many of those now close to potential "monetisation" a more commercial focus is now eminently appropriate and, indeed, fundamentally necessary.

That said he is right to be focus on ensuring that all products meet their various milestones on time. Credibility for the market, many potential investors, JV partners and others need that confidence before making long term commitments and, historically in my view, it is the regular delays that have contributed to the current malaise ion the sp / mc. Let's hope our Phil manages to deliver on his ambitions.

Today's news is very welcome and rather exciting but I doubt of it will a huge amount for the sp. It will be those "mid-year" trail results that will do that....
