Time is on their side. As long as they can keep the India authorities sweet they can simply sit it out and wait for SYN to collapse under the weight of ongoing overheads and next to no income. At some point Selan will "inherit" SYN's ownership of Cambay project at no further cost - and I am sure that they will find a sympathetic ear with the necessary governing bodies to get the license extended - for an appropriate fee, of course. After all they will be able to afford it with all of what would otherwise have been SYN's (and shareholders) income from Cambay.

It is not his being a shareholder in Helix that is the "gripe" but more his eternally repetitive, negative viewpoint and commentary; and as an apparent holder of the stock too. Unfortunately, being a Helix shareholder and holding, or at least expressing, a negative opinion of He1 seems to be a common occurrence..... one might even think they (Helix holders) have an agenda? But maybe that is just me being too cynical.

Stan, it more than likely indicates that they have a very large "net long" position that they are hedging in the market and do not wish to get any bigger. Any "buys" mean that they will have to buy more but "sells" mean they can reduce it.

And not forgetting that he is also a Helix "promoter", so comes as no great surprise.....

Maybe news of reworking may generate some temporary excitement but it won't be much and it won't last long - even a positive outcome from the re-working won't "move the dial" and a negative one is likely to do the very opposite...

Better to sit on your hands and await news of the Q4 drill programme; who knows there may even be a cap raise before that comes good. So little reason to be jumping in right now in my view. In the meantime there is time and opportunity to try and recoup some of your SYN losses elsewhere; surely better than marking time with SYN?

It seems the drop to 0.028p might have regenerated some buying interest. Let's just hope that, this time there is some real news to back it up and not just "rumour".....

Just tested the current "real" spread to find it to be 0.90 - 0.91p for 1m shares. Wider for greater numbers - 0.889 - 0.93p for 5 million.

At least at Sunda they had an "excuse" for the delays Sprint - at SYN it is simply pure neglect, or worse, (Malice aforethought) on the part of Selan and the SYN BoD....

FWIW gents TW believes that there is a greater chance of an upgrade in flow rates from NT1 than there is for NT2 - NT2 maybe a marginal increase but NT1 could be material. Just starting work would be good news right now! 😉
