Yup if you were given the choice you too would choose Wednesday... however I was being facetious duh ... Rico has messed up just admit it

Very few will take Monday to Fridays.... weekends are not what they were are they... give us all the chance of a Wednesday off and you are talking :)... no this move by the CEO and I do blame him is a fail... and the only reason I see for that is he is detached from the frontline reality... BTW in my office the managers are as perplexed by it as the staff and we will all work together.... towards getting the publics letters delivered on Saturdays as always :)

I dunno but I see in supermarkets and shops these persplex screens... The biggest problem RMG has at moment apart from making social distancing work inside offices is now it is one to a van... has no one thought of using these screens in vans?... separating driver from passenger... imagine the saving... nah no one sat at home doing videos whilst taking a huge wage has thought of it......

You are not even allowed to deliver a letter that is there in the office in the frame to an address you have a parcel for... get that!

Also, no clear guidance is given of how to manage these Saturdays... Tomorrow is going to be fun .. make it up as you go along you take some packets out you stay in thrown Mondays mail off ... Too many parcels for me to deliver in my time ... Oh but we haven't got enough vans for everyone to go out and get all parcels delivered... yup if Rico were a General he would be losing a very winnable war

No forced changes to duties only voluntary ones... that is clear to me so yes they will try to get everyone to fulfil their hours... quite correct but their hours are usually made up of delivering mail as well as packets... they are now being told just deliver packets meaning usual Sat workload is down what can managers make posties do? please take Saturdays as your day off from now on... Err no ,end of convo...Mondays will be up! ... It is a stupid move by the CEO but indicative of him not being on the frontline

No one in my rather large office will.. so Sats easy street... Monday's leave-in or do OT ... Not a great CEO move but what you get when you do not consult even your office managers!!!

Rico has backed down ... no one needs to change their duties which means Saturdays will be easy but still need to pay out lots of OT to get those parcels sorted and tracked scanned whilst adhering to social distancing and Mondays heavier than usual meaning more mail left in or lots of OT paid out... He has ****ed up and probably letters will return to being delivered on Sats by the first review in 2 weeks time

Yeah... The general feel is we do this lockdown come out of it and life goes straight back to pre CV19 as though it never happened and it just vanished.... the reality is going to be something else... I wouldn't be investing in airlines and definitely not cruiseliners

Nobody really knows how long immunity will last against this virus and probably it is quite individual with most vulnerable groups having the least lasting immunity... could it be a few months or a couple of years... Then the same with vaccines ... of course at the moment the rush is to find anything that shows a positive effect against it... but in time the most successful treatments and vaccines will win out.... If you have one perfectly good vaccine that works but gives only 3 months immunity and you have another equally good one with a year to two years of immunity we know which will eventually be taken up (in theory )) 'second-generation'
