Many in our office felt as though maybe a warehouse full of held up packets was got out on Saturday as there was just so much stuff as you say small packets BTW Chinese packets have picked up again after a lull .... Monday will be the interesting one... will parcels volume be down tomorrow? If not it does not bode well with the system being able to cope.

Every office makes it up as it goes along this is because there is no on the ground leadership.The CEO did not even have the courtesy or respect for his own managers never mind CWU to converse with them before bringing in changes... He is losing them too with many of those office managers finding themselves aligning with posties and CWU.... Look at the inequalities going on too not just office by office but in individual offices too... For Wolves to finish 2 hours early and some of his workmates not able to take everything out due to the amount they had on shows in his office duties are unbalanced and it is only right he was instructed to take more out to fulfil his hours....This company needs an on the ground connected leadership as this is a crisis but the business ought to be booming with the volumes of mail coming in! It's like you could not make it up ...

The sad kid wrote to Rico.. why can I not have my Birthday card Rico checked on Wolves PDA actuals and noticed he was home 2 hours early Rico is a savvy businessman and a helper of sad kids... Letters delivered again on Saturdays was the next announcement... after consulting with the union of course :)

And that sad kid gave Wolves the thumbs up as delivered his neighbours packet not knowing Wolves was on for an early finish....

Sadder than a kid with no Birthday card from lockdown nanna on his special day... card was there right next to the parcel delivered to his next door neighbour

BTW sounds like your office needs to be delivering letters on Sats Again SAP so you can all justify your hours... And I reckon you will be again soon... letters see about that one too :)

Wolves I never said we would be delivering letters! The policy is clear parcels only on Saturdays!.. that does not mean there is no letters though there are plenty and now they are Mondays problem

No, where did I say that?... the policy is clear no letters on a Saturday I said it is mad that you could deliver a parcel to an address but not a letter that is in the frame for that address i.e you can deliver a birthday present parcel but not the cards... Fathers day coming up?... you sad no mail was coming in I said it was ... It did come in to my office it is all prepped for Monday... D2d's too

No one said we would deliver letters! That will only happen after this crazy policy is reviewed until then packets only on Saturday...think you are confused we think we will be delivering letters again on Sats and maybe soon... Your unit must not be buried then think ours is near capacity and could get to breaking point

In our office you were wrong you said 'you will get packets and parcels but no mail' We got mail our coded boxes are all thrown off for Mondays fun... What I will say is again can only go off own experience... the packets were so heavy that it would have been impossible to get done on my walk on time with letters included ..A few got done early and found themselves fulfilling their hours throwing off Mondays mail and many went over a lot of OT paid out today plus a lot of posties using own vehicles to help the cause...

Coded boxes arrived at our office and have all been prepped for Monday some by managers some by staff who somehow managed to get back early from what has been an extremely busy day for parcels -they will learn ...Was chaos at our office everyone had to go out delivering parcels either by walking to meet vans or using their bikes or using their own cars a day of chaos... Looking forward to Mondays fun :) But I can say parcel volumes are well past even a busy Xmas Wednesday pretty much every day now....

He has f'd up pure and simple and we will be back delivering mail on Sats soon... he will want it to be done quietly hopefully from this all we will get some form of deal between union and BOD

If you are right and no mail at all arrives then he is losing RMG even more money as that means most of the workforce has nothing to do on a Saturday and loads on a Monday... what a star...
