Question is do scancell get in a placing of some form now( v soon) or is there something coming prior to doing it e.g if they are close to getting Covidity funding backing would it not be better to do any market raising on the back of that likewise any Avidity/Glycan deal/s though we know those probably won't be arriving till later in the year and may well have also been impacted by the virus effect on our collaborators... similarly any TCR program action ...BioNTech still mentioned as a collaborator and rival in trinity report....So we are in the dark till it happens and it has not yet ... My hope- we get to do it after some great news i.e Covidity backing (gov funds pharma partner etc) and that it is at a higher sp and attracts far more serious longterm ii

Obviously everything hangs on what happens now... and will anyone with the funds move in to be a part of this covidty vaccine project, we all know no matter if the partnership deal was for a not for profit covidity vaccine if a major player as in a name pharma came in and partnered scancell on this the sp would react very well.

Remember scancell are talking of 'non-dilutive' funding in relation to this covidity vaccine... that is the aim so to my mind if scancell is funded all the way through the covidity program meaning staff costs lab costs trial costs manufacture and distribution.. all costs covered and IP fully intact and owned then I do not myself see any issue in the end product being non-profit , happy with others to see it differently that is just my view I think the gains would far outweigh any missing out on profits from one vaccine ... scancell are a company of 3 platforms and many potential vaccines definitely a bio tech business not a charity... this one vaccine is unique ... see it as a key to a whole new world for scancell if they get it funded and it progresses all the way...It is not like there is much else going on... all other trials in the freezer and though we could still get Avidimab deals and TCR action this Covid situation no doubts will be having some impact on all of those too seeing as it will be affecting all those collaborators businesses as well.

Yeah we are just reflecting on other programs .. i.e the Oxford/Astra one and GSK /Sanofi one etc there does seem to be a move to make the vaccines non-profit which makes sense considering the whole world needs these vaccines and price should not be a hurdle for any successful vaccine to reach every corner of the globe ... We are not saying scancell will fund all that of course no all costs ought to be completely covered but we would not be surprised if the Notts vaccine is also a 'not for profit' vaccine.. and most of us feel that is not a problem in as much as so long as it gets trialled then proves itself and goes on to be widely used scancell would benefit massively and Lindy's way would no longer be neglected.

What I am hoping is there is loads of interest from lots of players meaning what is happening now is the sorting out of what is the best option of many for the Notts team to agree on and sign off to take this forwards.... that could also well be my wishful thinking :)

Funding is not sorted until it is sorted and that will be known via an RNS but indeed I have no doubts conversations have been are being had with many parties ...as the announcement RNS stated 'The Company is actively seeking development partners and additional funding (including non-dilutive funding from governments and global institutions) to support the rapid development of this vaccine.' .... Actively being the key-word ... I agree with the ideal would be a decent pharma partner ala Genentech/Roche... or any of the many other pharma/big bios sat looking in on all this ... and then additional funding from where ever be it government funds international funds or philanthropic funds etc... and as we have already discussed that this may be an all costs covered non-profit deal for scancell the potential resultant benefits far outweigh that.

Whether he did or some else did to say 'Vulpes will not sell more into a rising market' sounds pretty conclusive to me that information has gotten back to him to inform him enough to be confident enough to say that.

More important to us is to get the message out that in the U.K there is more than just the Oxford and London vaccine's Nottingham is working on one too one which could be the best long term solution but is most at danger of being overlooked!

The eery silence once Covid 19 hit and that 'covidity' arrived on the website pronto after the RNS ought to tell us yes scancell have been on to this for a while it is not just a case of last-minute panic to come up something .... If the mirror is correct and it does kind of fit in with what we know then Autumn is not an unreasonable time frame for a trial... which means funding is coming and coming soon...That the final product of that investment may be sold at cost indeed even subsidised by those who can so it gets to everyone does not concern me at all and doubt it does Lindy too the real gain will be in the validation of much-overlooked Immunologist and her work

It might be the only trial we get, at least for the foreseeable, so.... nothing ventured and all that but beyond that, this is the time that Lindy could actually get the chance she has been denied and I do see it like that -denied for years ... All because beyond us investor 'believers' though many have shown an interest in her potentially world-changing science no one apart from CRUK has used their cash and clout to push it forwards.

No need to give away any IP at all!... it is the end product that is non-profit not the IP behind it ...I doubt 100% Lindy will be giving any of her IP away she is very patent savvy :) ... But everyone would get to know about ImmunoBody and many more of those can be made and for full profit to scancell

Absolutely when I say not for profit we are talking about the end product which if successful you would expect to be distributed to the entire world as cheaply as possibly the creating of that product would be fully funded and not by Scancell it is more about the huge exposure and the validating of the scancell approach that we would all profit from here..Massive money is becoming available to get successful vaccines all we are saying is give Lindy's a chance.

BTW not getting the fuss about this being a non-profit vaccine so what! The attention that getting this program going would bring to scancell the validating of Lindy's approach with trials the likelihood of pharma wanting in and the backing of all scancells science and other vaccines likely to be developed would massively outweigh this not being a for-profit project
