Maybe yesterday’s rise was due to yet more 4% rates on the market creating more competition to push rates lower still. The whole sector is down today (Crst worse than PSN) and probably no surprise with three trading updates in three days?

Having watched you for some time average down from £22, £21, £19, and so on, you must have some that you can sell at a loss to counter balance profits? Or gift some to a partner (if you have one) that can utilise the 3k profit allowance?

Just the funds in my portfolio (managed) has had a bad week compared to my personal S&S isa. That’s unusual when the markets have dropped a bit. Very unusual

Have a Happy, Healthy and (I’m sure) prosperous New Year

We will get the unit figures on the 10th. 9000 minimum projected. Based on half time figures of 4249 units and 151m pre tax. If it hits 9000 on the head that would generate 320m pre tax, all things being equal. That’s £1 a share. Don’t forget the taxation situation too. In the days of Jeff, when PSN traded at 3 X PBV due to their 95% payout ratio (£2.35) while the rest of the sector traded at 1.5 PBV. I think £25 (PBV 2.3) is way off for this year? Having said that, PSN has always traded at a premium but I think the days of 3X may have gone, at least for the foreseeable. We shall see. Nothing seems to make sense in the markets these days. As I said, there’s more to share price than current performance but I can’t see more than 60p divided for the full year under their new strategy. Even 80p is looking unlikely to me. Guess we will find out in March, but I am going for 60p. I’m surprised you’ve gone all in on one share in the sector Christofer. Fair play to you though. Still think it’ll be the sector for this year. I’m holding three. Best of luck to you going forward and only my views

Let’s see what the figures say on the 10th. Will H2 mirror H1 giving pre tax of 302m for the year? Maybe Stevebt can answer that one, how business has been going in the second half? I know there’s more to a share price than just current figures but even so, they look some way behind Wimps & Redrow to me on current SP’s?

Got my eye on the Pru at the moment as I think the East may be ready? This is my largest holding. Considering that I should be pleased with my 39.64% including divs? It’s only my second full year of making a real go of this game. Retired three and a half years ago and spent the first 18 months building an extension. Last year returned -3.03%. I was hoping to average 16.6% including dividends ( 6.92%) Is that unrealistic? Nearly back on track!
