Not a daft question.
We have been expecting first gas any time since December 2020 based on management guidance, and it's still anyone's guess really.
The closer we get to the latest first gas target, the further away it seems to move.
It's a bit like your mate who keeps driving off a few yards up the road just as you're about to open the car door to get in.

Current management guidance is still officially in Q1, but no later than 20-30 days into April.

The expectation of most on here is no earlier than May though.
Who will be right, the company who are privy to everything going on and drip feed progress, giving updates at the very last minute, or us punters working on hunches and guesstimates based on known progress? I know who my money's on.

But hey, I'm only 13% down now though, so shouldn't be complaining, although not getting complacent due to past experience here.

I visited Macon for a weekend last year.
Quite into the wines of that region now and bought a few different offerings to try including Fleurie and Brouilly. The Cremant from the region is pretty good too

Per the RNS, XD date is 17th March, so you can buy any time until then to qualify for the dividend which will be paid on 28th April

Top level figures look good (especially if you compare to JUP)

That first IQ pretty much covers the IQ that I submitted that they have not acknowledged.
It will be pretty disappointing if they wait 3.5 weeks until the end of March to answer those first 2 IQ's though.

I must be on the black list at Angus. I submitted an IQ on Friday regarding their timeline from the 27 Jan RNS and asking for an update given that their proclaimed first gas of Q1, but on later than 20-30 days into April does not look remotely possible, and their requirement to inform the market of any material delays.
To date, no email to verify, much like the last couple of IQ's I have submitted, despite all submissions being respectful and genuine.

The 3rd June 2021 RNS states that the hedge starts in July 2022

Timed wrong, as always, and should have been more patient, but happy at 98p.
So difficult to predict short term moves, the fall could reverse quickly with any news over the weekend.

No sure I am the best person to ask, given my (fun) SP prediction at the start of 2021, for year end 2021 was 21p!
Too many factors to really predict where this could go, but personally I would hope that company continues to develop and grow over the next couple of years, and if there was to be any buy-out, it would be much further down the line.
Confident of growth, but not going to predict any future SP or potential mcap

Having had a small position here for some time (sub 6p), I added 5x my original stake this week.
Not quite in at the current lows, so difficult to time entry points with so much volatility, but more than happy with a sub-8p average.
Expecting some more volatility due to outside factors, but a firm hold now for me.

Thanks to all for the informative posts and research. By far one of the better boards, and hopefully will stay that way too.

What games?
There is serious turbulence across all markets, sectors, etc currently. Pretty plain to see.
A long way off from tangible results here, so sizeable, often unexplainable movements expected.
Good news will get swallowed up, and any bad news will get an exaggerated drop.
Seems pretty simple to me.
But, any drop is always put down to MM games, large seller in the background, etc, while any rise is due to great investment insight, getting in at the right time, etc.
Serious lack of perspective and realism to what is actually going on by many.
Conspiracy theories always trump logic, and accountability and facts on these boards

I know that I should know better, but here goes.
They cannot hold back news, it must be released as soon as possible.
Cue all the usual chat about this being AIM, playing by different rules, etc, etc.

The original expectations for delivery at SFB were for December 2020 (Yes, 2020), and in August 2020 they gave a detailed timeline pointing to ALL works being complete in 'early 2021'.
So, 15 months late already (not to mention the massive costs that were not known at the outset), and still without a firm delivery date (potentially 2 months plus being conservative) is NOT a short term horizon for those who have been here since SFB was first mooted way back in April 2019, or even before then.

It's not insider trading to mention that news is expected.
It is if details of this news is divulged prior to public release.

From a previous RNS (5/11) headed 'Update on FPGA and ASIC Development', the company stated "ASIC programming will start this month, and we estimate that by the end of Q1 2022 we will be able to announce when the first batch of prototype chips will be available for in-house testing"

So, just based on that it is evident that news is expected on at least one front

Was invested at launch, but had to sell to cover expenses during a house sale.
Was intending to buy back with a larger position tomorrow, but may wait for further news on this.
Sold at 125, so a good profit and current price to get back in looks good.
Hold, or wait - maybe any new raise will happen in the next tax year when I was planning to add further anyway

Although I think this is a good move, agree that the Alibaba connection is a bit of a red herring, and her frequent references to them in interviews is a bit of a distraction. Hope she can move forward and focus purely on MODE rather than past connections now.

Can't imagine the nimbys being happy about drilling down to 20kms
Not looked too much into Angus and Geothermal, but may take another look at the tech being developed in this area. Can't see it being anything less than a long term project for ANGS though, and certainly wouldn't believe any of the timescales from their presentation document as being achievable given their history
