Personally, I think the likes of 20p is achievable, but only further down the line, perhaps once in production in 2019 (assuming everything proves up), but it would probably need a bigger fish coming in with a partnership/takeover offer at a premium to achieve this level. Possible Mid-2019 target SP if good news continues?
Short term, I think commerciality of the Portland with a decent flow rate could go to the 3.5p to 4.5p range, maybe a little more with sentiment, This level may attract some additional II interest.
Difficult to predict thereafter as too many variables to be factored in currently imo.

My MiFID II knowledge is not all that great I must admit, but sure there was some connection with trade reporting either as part of the regulation, or in conjunction with it. Rings a bell that there was some ridiculous timeframe for trades to be reported following execution, but may just be old age!!

My understanding is that all outstanding orders need to be closed overnight and any completed portion reported for that day?
Any leftovers from an uncompleted large order will be submitted as new orders the next day, and so on until completed.
Happy to be put right on this if above incorrect, but my assumption was that as part of MiFID II trades must be reported daily to the market and within a certain timeframe.

Too many variables and unknowns at present to accurately predict a SP/MCAP value going forward, ultimately, the market will decide and then a major could come in with an offer that holders cannot turn down (partnership or full takeover).
Slow and steady rises in the meantime without news with further SP rises on announcements at all stages of testing.
A good time to be a holder imo

It's easy to get carried away and buy in on hype.
Happy with my level of holding and awaiting an RNS. May topslice on back of Portland test results, depending on where this takes the SP. Ultimately, in for the long term prize though.

Have failed with my attemps to predict an SP ceiling without an RNS 2 days running now, so should continue for the hat-trick!
Can't see 2.60 being broken without an RNS :-)

Still predicting an RNS to drop on Thursday (with further gains) and a full blue week.

My average almost reached today, but still holding for the long term. Not long for those with a higher average to wait now imo. Can see 5p plus as realistic in the coming weeks off of a good RNS and continuing sentiment and this in turn will start to interest some of the smaller II's to get in and push the SP higher still. Can't see the bigger II's getting involved just yet until around the 10p level due to mcap restrictions.

AN exciting week ahead imo.
Expecting an RNS update before the week is out (Thursday is my guess) and should be a good week for the tanker spotters too. SP to hold above 2p now, but maybe not break 2.20 without an RNS. Perhaps opening higher tommorrow and good volumes again after Friday.
The excitement is building.
Out for the day tomorrow, but will be checking SP with interest.

Great to see that my late night prediction last night of no tankers today and SP staying under 2p without a news update was proved wildly incorrect within 2 hours of the open today.
My third long-held prediction of an RNS testing update not expected until next week would have made a great hat-trick, had it dropped.
Great tick-up today, good sentiment behind it now and great updates from eyes on the site, as always.
SP ever closer to my average now.

Predictions for next week:
- SP to remain stable above 2p, but below 2.15 to 2.20 until a news update is released.
- RNS testing update to be released prior to the end of the week.
- Danpoe to go CAPS LOCK crazy!

Seadoc, I am certainly a realist, but not a deramper. Invested in ukog and happy with my position and where I believe SP is heading. Try to only post on subject matters that I am familiar with and have some knowledge about, dislike non-factual posts from both camps. gla

Agree with you, I was trying to agree with JayKay1's point.
A lot of posters keep talking about 'shorters' but none of these posters ever reply to say who exactly they think is shorting despite being told that there are none - deliberate misinformation on their part?
Was going to mention your spreadbet, but I think everyone on here knows about that! A spreadbet is certainly not what posters are implying when they are talking about shorters in connection with UKOG.

Expect circa 10p (and holding) based on current shares in issue before larger II's start getting interested.
Consolidation within the weald a consideration once any commerciality is announced
Oil major interest maybe at a higher SP level again.

It's amazing how everyone who continually comments about the so-called 'shorters' never reply when someone asks who exactly is shorting the stock, despite the regular posting of the information you have given.

Away from this board most of today and some interesting posts. Another steady day today, on continuing low volumes. May see a tick-up before the long weekend, especially if there is a tanker sighting or two (personally, not expecting one tbh).

IMO possibility of RNS some time next week, SP to hold in the 1.80 to 2p range in the meantime. RNS needed to breach 2p.

Volume way down on Friday and yesterday, expect SP to hold below 2p for now, and maybe drift down back to 1.80 level until next news release. Patience needed. Next news perhaps a testing update after BH next week
