I don't believe everything I read, just reporting details of what was posted by Adrian as someone asked if anyone was on site today.
Presumably from what you are saying, the W-G markings on the sign indicate that and the Fawley pipeline would have different markings?

I think the main issue of objection re: the shorting argument is that the many rampers on here accuse any individual posters who are supposedly 'anti' UKOG as being shorters (as well as swampies, etc) as it suits their agenda.

So, if anyone can clarify, could an individual (PI) posting on this LSE board take an actual short position in this, or any other AIM share? I would say no.

I would expect it to be the former, if any journo was not given site access, but we'll see.

Starbright, that's the section from the RNS that confuses me as to why the uplift in SP was not maintained.
Presumably the market was expecting higher flow test results given the August 3rd initial testing RNS, whereas the latest RNS suggests a lower flow rate that 'could' be achieved by further optimisation?
A case of underdelivering on expectations perhaps?
Good to see the SP rising again today and hopefully a couple of good news RNS's due in the next week or 2 (Xodus report and Kim testing) to push the SP higher still.

The 2.05 - 2.10 level was tested the last couple of days.Those with a 2p entry point may be disappointed with news announcements expected in the coming weekd (Xodus report, Kim testing update).

Typically under 100m (less than 2% t/o) traded daily with no news. That's buys and sells.
Hardly masses of people jumping ship elsewhere.
Seems the majority people are more holding and waiting than anything else imo.

It does seem that several regular posters (LTH) have ceased posting since the last RNS.
Maybe they sold out on the spike and have moved over to ANGS, or elsewhere, but this BB has become a bit of a mudslinging fest of late which may also put people off posting.
A lot of people disappointed by the muted SP response to the RNS, and the subsequent SP dip too which is understandable.
Still positive on UKOG and prepared to be patient.

Are we likely to see the Xodus report on the Portland results before any preliminary testing results for the Kim?
Not sure how long this type of report takes.

Hopefully we can all agree that the closing SP today is below that of both the 'actual' closing price on Monday, as reported by all market information providers, and the 'actual' closing SP as claimed by many on here?

To summarise, the closing SP today is down compared to that of Monday.

Looking forward to a tick up as more news awaited. Good to see a tanker sighting today, hopefullt more on the way. Still here for the long term play and ignoring talk of MM games, letting 'mates' get in on the cheap, rampers and derampers alike.

I did read an article somewhere recently that stated that dividends in AIM stocks was increasing at a greater rate than other indices.
Not suggesting UKOG anywhere near paying a dividend.

As a largely sentiment driven stock, I think these sightings will reassure many PI's whilst news updates are awaited.
Always good to receive visual confirmation of actual goings on. Adds to the interest in this stock.
It won't affect my investment decisions, but I would rather see these updates than read all the excessive ramping/deramping postings from many on here.

Lots of predictions after the RNS yesterday that this would be all over BBC news, SKY news, etc and talk of game changing and national importance.
People need to calm down and get a bit of perspective.
A good RNS, disappointing SP reaction to date, but the story continues.

Certainly exceptions as client mandates will always be vague enough to allow some wriggle room away from the guidelines for investments if fund managers see a good opportunity.

Think these smaller mcap investments will be more for managed funds of private clients though and the current SP volatility will dissuade larger sized investments from institutional managed funds, certainly to the levels of market RNS declarations of holdings.
AIM specialist funds, small mcap funds and sector specific funds may be investing at the current level.
