Seems odd raising their SP target by 5% in 4 weeks, but staying with a Sell rating.
Consensus seems to be more a neutral/buy, so out of line with their peers.
Would be interesting to see the reasons for the change in SP, but not sure if the full broker notes are readily available without a suscription?

Feel that in the coming months, most holidays will have been booked and paid for, so if the virus is under control in that time period we may only see a minimal impact through any short term travel restrictions resulting in possible cancellations - these may lead to a switch to alternative options.
A switch of focus to other locations than Asia (or China specifically) for bookings in the 3-6 month timeframe may also occur.
Hopeful that going XD will also see a minimal drop with a more than reciprocal rebound expected.
Similar view to arsenal58 in that regard?

Slightly higher entry price than hoped for due to availability of funds, but results due at month end and hopeful for the continuing of the special divi to go with the final divi seen over past years.

Bought in yesterday too, mainly for the divi.

Sure I've read before that not all trades will show on here, it depends on which exchange or broker they go through (NEX or something else along those lines?). May have it wrong, but don't think it is anything to do with 'games'.

Genuinely feel that good news (water fix) would only see us back to 1p in the short term with a decent flow rate.
Cannot see anything on the horizon that would result in anything higher than circa 1.20 to 1.25 with a CPR in the short term.
Longer term, with the additional wells and other projects, of course, but this will be a long journey to get back to even 1.50 imo.

Curious as to why you state that anyone not currently invested 'will not be able to get in once they announce transformational news'? Why exactly is that, are investors not already 'in' prohibited from buying once news comes in?

Also, you mention the age old issue of a 'rush to close shorts' which has pretty much been disproved multiple times over the past 2 years or so since I have been on these boards.
Who are these current shorts and where is the evidence that ukog is being shorted?
The only evidence I have ever seen presented in over 2 years shows that there are either zero open short positions here, or that they are so small to be negligible compared to the shares in issue.
Plus PI's do not have the ability to short this stock in the sense you are implying.

Suggest folk just wait for news (which should not be too long based on activity reported), which will hopefully lift this to a higher range than present.

For me, the timing of when any additional fund raise may be needed will be key.
If there has been some positive progress re: Balcombe and Saltfleetby over the coming months, then why not a placing?
There is always the option of a market sounding to raise (there may have been no appetite previously as nothing on the horizon to be of interest), what would prevent any interest in this method would be a lack of belief in the market due to non-progress.
Some positive progress and this (placing) could well be a funding source again.
The terms (price) would in all probability need to be a decent discount though, unless there is a big upturn in terms of news, trading volume, sentiment, etc.
Time will tell. A good few months away yet, imo

If you want me to comment on Sagemans post, then yes, no need for the insults from you, him, or anyone. It works both ways (and I am not immune myself on this either as some of my own past posts will show).

You say that your UJO and UKOG views are balanced, but of some 560 posts you have made in the last 30 days, over 250 seem to have been removed by Admin for one reason, or another.
At an average of almost 19 posts a day, I think that even DHC was more restrained with his posting frequency here.

You may not be too surprised to hear that I consider both Sageman and CaptainStanley to generally post reasoned posts on certain aspects of ukog here despite their differing viewpoint to you (reasoned compared to many posters here in any case). I can also say the same for posts from PCS and yourself, agreeing on some points, but not all that is put forward.
I agree with different aspects of ukog that posters of a different overall viewpoint may present. It may appear contradictory, but having held for over 2 years I have seen BOTH sides viewpoints on different aspects to have been shown to be right at different stages of progression here, and opinions do change over a timeframe as a company grows and develops.

My view here is still positive, but with reservations on certain aspects. Not every company is perfect, and not every company is doing everything right. Cautious optimism, but I have a different timeline for the 'bigger' gains here than many with a more positive outlook do.

Re: your 9:50 post. How can you claim a 2pps NOW as fact, when it is currently 0.725, as well as up to 5pps in 6 months?
We will see, of course on the 6 months target, but for me, there is still too much unknown for this to have such a big re-rate in a short timeframe, and this has been the case for 18 months or so. The likely change here will be the CPR which will make things a lot clearer and allow a more realistic valuation.
Getting back to 1p in this timeframe should be a more realistic target to see a return of investor confidence, and hopefully attract more investors through positive activity (e.g. fixing the water issue in a timely manner which is hopefully on course).

For me, you let down your own case here by continually referring to other posters who hold a different view as idiots, or less intelligent posters, and by inferring that UJO/UKOG is an either/or investment case. You talk a lot about balance and presentation of facts whilst dismissing anyone else's opinion as 'deflection' whilst doing exactly the same thing yourself and slinging insults around.
Other posters are not trolls, or traders just for having an alternative view, and if you think they are then you are a by definition a troll yourself based on your current and historic UJO posting history.

Still calling an 8p SP over there, I see, despite being massively wrong for the past 5 months or so based on your solid research that 'it got there once before, so why not again'.
Why not stick over there with your firm conviction and take your own advice (to ignore trolls) rather than resort to trolling another board 'for fun'. Clearly bored on a Friday night when you know no Admin around to monitor these boards.

Nothing at all like the massive collective of sad stories seen on SSX, and hardly something to be crowing about whichever share it may be.
Your post says a lot about you as a person more than anything revelling in the (perceived) misfortune of others.
Typical Friday night fayre on these boards when no Admin presence around to monitor (i.e. deliberate trolling).

I am not sure too many LTH's, many with averages over 2p (many over 4p even) will be entirely thankful that trolls are supposedly the reason for what looks to be a 5 year low at present (SP is clearly not affected by any posting here anyway).

Thankfully, my own average is down to 1.48 after much topping up in 2019, so still confident of seeing a return here. I just feel it will be longer than the 2-6 months many are predicting and we have been hearing talk of 'patience' for around 18 months already.
Frustration at delays and communication not helping here.
I have mentioned a few times recently, I'm hoping for a 2020 strategy plan and drilling RNS similar to what was published around this time last year to gauge timelines and priorities for this year as I feel the market as well as PI's would appreciate this.

Will have to disagree with you one last time though, as (for me), the optimists are not ramping now, just looking forward with a more cautiously positive outlook, and the cynics are hardly being realistic, more still taking every chance to knock just for the sake of it based on the past, whether that be merited, or not. Hardly 'sensible' imo.
Still a risky play with potential for a modest upside (based on current SP).
Still much to do. It will be a long and slow process on both fronts (Balcombe and Saltfleeby), and I would hope most will at least agree that this year is make or break in terms of deliverance.
