B2,
The stories we have seen over recent days always seem to be extrapolated to AIM as 'proof' that manipulation is rife everywhere, MM's are playing games, etc, yet there is often little, or no proof specific to individual companies.
I am more inclined to think, like others have stated, that the rapid rise to the 80's was likely overdone, given what is happening in the here and now with AFC.
Most expected a pull-back at some point, which is what we have seen. The likes of ExtremeE and the other news we have seen are all most likely priced in at around this level currently, given the promise, but lack of actual firm figures for sales, big contracts, etc.
Every share reaches a point where hype, sentiment, imminent news, etc has taken them so far (often higher than any true value).
What is needed now though, is delivery. Proof that large contracts have been awarded, firm contract orders with quantifiable figures, additional collaborations, scaling up of production, a firm financial foundation for growth, tangible returns that will generate cashflow (I have written these last 2 sentences on at least 3 different boards, just this week).
Comparing AFC to its' peers and saying we should be valued the same is counter-productive at this stage in the companies' development, imo.
We should not lose sight of what a great company AFC is shaping up to be, the fantastic progress made in the last few months, and the opportunity for rapid growth that could well happen this year, the big showcasing of the company that ExtremeE will bring in terms of visibility, the powerful light that is being shone on this sector by governments, the actions within the sector itself, etc.
Patience will be rewarded, imo, but we need to view the company with some realism and perspective too, and not let frustration at short term SP movements get in the way.
Still very positive here, still happy to hold and excited to see where this will be at then end of 2021, I am sure it will be a very different company by then.
