Rjb,
I would ask the same as klick, as well as the reasons for investing.
If you only invested less than 3 weeks ago, what was the draw and what do you think has changed about the company in such a short space of time for you to consider altering your investment view?
Did you have a target 'exit' SP when investing?
Don't rush to make a decision (whether the SP is rising, or falling) if your investment reasons have not materially changed.
If you are just taking a chance, as you say, it doesn't sound as if you invested for the long term.
Only you can decide at the end of the day, based on your own particular circmstances - too many factors to list here.
Would you sell all, leave some in, is the money for something specific, a new investment opportunity?
Good luck whatever you decide.
I perhaps invested for similar reasons, saw an article I thought was interesting , did some research and bought in over several trades, rather than in 1 go (my preference).
I have only been here for a few months, but I invest for the long term, as trading is not for me.
Personal circumstances can change of course, just like the investment itself can change.
If you can afford it, and don't need immmediate access, you are right, it can be better than money in the bank (and also more fun, but frustrating).
Oh, and from your initial post, I do not consider myself an expert in any way, still a novice and learning despite around 25 years of investing 'experience'!
