I am not wealthy and my fingers would have it hed long before. It hurts to be losing a big 50% but it is my responsibility. You did well in 2021. Sadly I am the opposite. Too much in Ncyt. I didn’t expect GM to be quite as callous( naive of me) nor govt. not to pay up. Very important to have skin in the gameSad reflection of duplicity and amorality. I’m not like that. But I know enough who can sleep easy at night after callous behaviour. As a teacher for 40 yrs, I have taught an interestinglyblarge number of murderers and rapists/GBH/ABH / big drug dealers etc. Endemic. AIM no different. I was in POG…my first lesson in stock exchange naivity. 15:1 rights issue list me £98k. A LTH . Coukdn’t afford the new shares.
I am very wary here but not because of the bod, but because of what I have lost. 77% of what I once had.
So these ignorant stirrers should go and get a real life and leave this site to ( hopefully) supportive debate.

Personal question.
As a large holder myself at 89p ave. it matters. Are you genuinely aiming to offload above Placing price or take a profit as your holding must have an enviable low average. Now it’s your business really and not mine. I just feel like many will have bought in today just to sell at 55p and the saga goes on. As a genuine LTH I feel shafted by SO and the options-even if that’s just the way it is. I am prepared to wait as long as it takes , but do not want to be shafted in the end too. Results have been good but I am on a massive 5 figure loss and 50% down. You have to expect these things but after Ncyt I really am bu** ered. Oh by the way…yes…you were not to know about the Dhsc or GM’s appalling selfish behaviour with Ncyt. I am on a 5 year £ low now which is my responsibility but it hurts of course. You will hold as much as me but on a 40p lower ave I would think.

Or say not to catch a falling knife for that reason. The market pivots around fear of loss or desire for gain. The mm’s have more tricks up their sleeve than a conjuror. And p/i’s are the last to know anything. I have no idea what the games afoot are. People can say this will go down or up.
One can only look at evidence and not be foolish enough to fall for the emotion of fear.

Let people sell if they want. They would surely do so just as readily if the price was rising, thus suppressing it.

The problem with being a shareholder is that we are at the bottom of the food chain. One of the directors was good enough to respond in detail personally on NYear’s eve. to an investor expressing himself and his chagrin. So we are not wholly ignored. I will be emailing today and I encourage all others to. Obviously with half his holding left, Oliviera could take 6 months to offload. This downward pressure could last right through to his sellout , if that’s what he intends to do. Sentiment can be annihilated which would be grossly unfair to long term holders. To offer these gratis options at 53p is itself painful for those of us who bought in at Placing. Two downward pressures. Not sure what Oxford feel about their options at 85p now either.
A curious rock and hard place for us to be in. I think it was Alrx who wrote the s/h reply. He failed to address the question on SO’s selling ( a brief mention of not having control over shareholder behaviour ).
SO is not just a common shareholder. So the question on the implications of his full selling was not answered at all. He is the big thorn in the flesh now , and the timing of the share options was imo frankly terrible. To do with CFO appt.? Ok.
But we are really having our noses rubbed in this share right now. I am on a 44% loss. I do not earn £105,000 a year . And if I had £1m to spare for the Placing, I would need to be fairly wealthy anyway. I am absolutely in the opposite place to that.
So….it seems to be a case of just sitting it out until S.Ocean Capital have sold out. A long time. And shorters just knowing this.

I cannot buy into this bravado/ enthusiasm syndrome. I know what news awaits but its content is of course a mystery regardless of IBS/Asthma/Blautix positivity. Alex suggested in his email that directors communicating with the market is generally self-destructive. So I think we have an answer there as to BOD’s position re. intervention. They do not need to pander to shareholders so I expect nothing except updates as and when.
I know and read here of how exciting all this science is etc.and how this will fly etc.
We need to have feet on ground. Market takes no prisoners.
I see no harm in any or many of us emailing them however. We do exist and we do matter!

My 2 are 28 ( yesterday) and 30. Video editor and radio presenter at Absolute in London. My greatest privilege of any is to be their Dad. They are diamonds.
Eldest went to Uni in NOrleans. Is a lover of NFL too!!! Complex game. All sports are great. I have done 45 yrs of martial arts but respect all sports and interests. I just love to fight :-) Just come home exhausted and injured.
