We have no idea what os going on but I feel certain it won’t be nothing. Too much has gone into this company and, as Porky says, so many diversities. The market is always looking for scapegoats. It’s how they make money. I am safly also in Ncyt which is scapegoated by this seedy seedy government.
Switching off for a day or so can help reduce the frustration.
An RNS comes if it comes and when. Or not. Sell out or stick.
I only do the latter when it is not a real investment case.

I feel the share price in 2-3 months will be far more reflective of reality than a price which will reflect investor-base response, which is usually very short term and may resemble the US VIX index at its worst. To me it is best to move on quickly and get all this stuff well-behind us.
I knew -and said-any recovery would be over a year and would bottom drawer , but did not expect to have sunk to this level. I have had many many dealings with govt. and the DHSC in fact…whose Covid response took 7 months to get back to my MP. My son is friends with a DHSC employee and it’s amazing what you can find out. Sloth-like and cumbersome body.
It is all in the hands of solicitors who wield the real power now. They have strict deadlines for responses but the wait-times for application to court are well over a year now. So this will not be resolved for a very long time as it dictates any potential agred resolution.

IMO without a platinum rabbit in the hat, another 18 months on the cards. This does not suit today’s Macdonalds fast-food’investor’. I resonate with most posts on this thread but may be too ‘ realistic’ for some. Let us hope for a few rabbits in the near future to buoy our spirits!

The problem is that shareholders are cannon fodder once we have parted with money. I am on an even bigger loss than 4D (?!) and have been for 14 months now. I grew to get to know that GM did not actually care a monkey’s private parts about the human lives of private investors.
He gave away free pcr tests and watched some peoples’s quality of life and health degenerate in his own country. RNS’s and quasi AGM’s were a joke. DA now in charge. Bought some shares ok. But the legal details have to be kept sub judice so we can’t know anything. The market fleeces us again accordingly.
I expect nothing tomorrow-best way.

The claim is normally issued directly to the company’s solicitors.
The time allotted for each response will be a given number of days.
A corporate solicitor would know this. They always allow a precise number of days. I can’t say how many but do know this is the case from my own court cases.

I have struggled with this clause and you were right…you can’t expect a replacement for what they have already agreed to and accepted.
I seem to remember from a year ago that DHSC were complaining about poor attendance and training to implement Promate. Not sure about Essig.
The solicitors will be poring over the legal clauses precisely . It’s what they do.
Hard for us to know the bones of contention.And if we don’t, it’s hard to make sense of the potential outcome. Both sides obviously fancy their chances or it would not have gone this far.

This already was the counter-claim. It looks to me so far like it may get to the day before the court or in the doorway. I have been involved in about 15 claims before.
It is all very linear and regulated by solicitors. They know what to expect.
They will be running thi, not Ncyt. Ncyt just provide them with requested info and secide whether to accept an offer if it gets to that. Apart from that, it is all done for them. The govt. was always going to push it to the limit. As should Ncyt. Nothing is allowed to be leaked to the media intentionally, so sadly the govt. is safe unless the leak can’t be traced. I hope someone does!!
This’ll just drag on at least through this year, maybe longer. I have an undisputed claim which is guaranteed ( motoring)…already 21/2 years!! Legal profession butters their bread. Doesn’t help Ncyt…bit like SFO didn’t help Petrofac, but ot doesn’t change the business as the cost has already been factored in hasn’t it!!

There are no ethics in govt. particularly this one. Red in tooth and claw. Echoes the market. And Ncyt. No illusions about their attitude regarding private investors. Proven time and time again.AGM 1 and real AGM 2 were a farce. See if Investormeet conference is same. They never leave enough time for questions though and often the easy questions are chosen! We’ll see.
I don’t expect to make myself popular here, but let us be realistic re. results and not expect fireworks, eh?

Essentially the whole market is down. Let us read little into this apart from knowing the causal factors…. China’s ridiculous zero-covid policy doomed to fail ( not sure how they will get out of this one), Hawkish Fed, uncertainty re. Implications of Ukraine and its longevity. How can markets not react??have seen 15-20 crises since 1987. Through ERM/ Asian/Tech/9/11/Iraq/Lehmans/recession/Covid ..etc. The world will come through this too. We jist have to watch and wait as we can’t do anything. People bringing darkness to these chatboards should just exit and go play D and Dragons or something. People deserve better in these deeply unsettling times.

Well we make our own choices here. I only want to communicate with people who are considerate myself.
I would also like to add that 4D are funded through Q4 and in negotiations with Oxford for 2023 according to Duncan. Merck are here and 0518 is not a useless product to them. Global markets are mainly at the moment suffering from the ridiculous Chinese zero covid policy. It’s like trying to eradicate the common cold. Are they going to keep all foreigners out indefinitely?? Australia and NZ made that error. Either allow gradual immunity and protect through vaccines or shut down as an economy. I can hardly believe Putin can be so mistaken with his failing paradigm or that China can do the same. It is clear it doesn’t work. China is the main cause of the present unrest as the Fed and Ukraine are reasonably “ factored in”. 2nd largest economy shutting down due to covid? Their own arrogant autocratic control of a disease they originated has come home. They have vaccines. Use them.
This is why almost all stocks are down.
But those saying beware of capital markets, 4D is funded for 8 months. And has many irons in the fire. A Placing will not happen.
It doesn’t stop mm’s takiing advantage if you look at the trading pattern though.

Hey Risky. I’m well over 60 and could also do with a girlfriend, but my wife might not be too happy.And I knew@ was the norm.
Seems such a trivial complaint either way anyway. You can know that as a 20 yr old newbie or 63 yr. old oldie. I have him on filter so can’t know what was said.
Best to ignore silly gripes and just support holders and oneself at another somewhat difficult time for the share.
