RE: Buyers Returning10 Nov 2022 17:39
Easy to tear a company to shreds.
I have lost as much as anyone here to be sure, but I will come out and say credit for Allmond leaving or being pushed-we will never know. Itās a harsh time in the markets and the world, but no harsher than many other times. ( I actually remember the Cuban Missile Crisis/oil embargo/Vietnam ( the worst)/77-85 appalling recession/Interest rates at 15% in 1993/ERM exit/Tech crisis/Asian crisis/9-11/Iraq/Lehmans rtc etc etc. Covid plus Putin is a double whammy admittedly though. But winter is aheadā¦NHS faltering, govt. lost credibility, Republicans about to disrupt US support for Ukraineā¦yes bad times. Ncyt is a dreadfully poy-run company, but the science is good and winter is ahead with covid-inducced non immunity threatening. Best to oust the ailing salesman or encourage him to resign. Times have always been tough on this Earth, but winter demands protection from these new ( and old) bugs. Ncyt is well-positioned to confront new nasties. All it needs is another variant. My mother is 93 and has covid for 4th time atm. I only had it once March 2020. Now is the winter of our discontent in many ways, so I hope Ncyt can benefit from the ill wind that winters bring.
I was always criticised for being critical of Ncyt from Feb 2021, and said the dispute would take years. It will. But I am just saying that 68p aināt too much of a gamble to put oneās chip on in mid November ppre-winter with a new housekeeper on the horizon!! Even remaining leeches on good wages can only do so for so long.
I was never one for randomly supporting the priceā¦I just got caught out. There is no floor, but right now this seems a bargain to me. 98p 6 weeks ago. Ā£1.20 8 weeks ago.Not alot has changed. And a fresh start.
Iām a real cynic, so for me to think this could be an opportunity means either I am eating the wrong mushrooms or it could be.
I can always be wrong, aswe all can.
Hope we lthās see a bit of blue soon!!
