It takes very little to make a share price move on AIM. The erratiic way this share has behaved has all the hallmarks of mm manipulation for a reason ( lots of possibilities) and sub 0.5% shorts. Very easy to do.

This share will need time to settle. Quite some time possibly. It looks like it may even fall further although sensible people would do well to buy at 84.5 and just tuck it away. There will be no director buys imo and it would not surprise me if the CEO is involvedin some of these shenanegans. Much goes on behind closed doors . I think there will be volatility for some time, but a buy and hold seems very sensible as per the SIPP comment. Definitely a pure puppet stock right now though but a good long term entry or average down opportunity imo. Tomorrow? May go down more which makes it more attractive.

I don’t see a director buy. They almost excclusively never do when you want them to.

The buyback will prob. be about 150k again. It is amazing what lethargy a salary close to £1m can lead to. See it time and time again on the stock market.

This is on an unexpected downer. It may be shorters. Or just downward pressure to allow buying. I can’t yet see a solid reason why it should suddenly drop to 84p as it has done. Rather painful if one has an average at £1.20.

This is screaming for an investigation or at the very least an EGM to oust the BOD.

Imo this drop is on poor results but they were not terminal. Revenue good, prospective revenue looks to be ok, profit may well recover. Ebidta ok. Many AIM companies are targeted on poor results and it is an opportunity for those who were in the know on Friday ( massive pre-results sell-off) to buy back at 3/4 of the price. 1,255,151 shares traded today. Bet most were buys. The buybacks will continue and will support the share price to a degree. Cannot count on Roade or BOD telling brokers to buy more though. Been here too often and witnessed stupidity re. buybacks. Roll with the ridiculous price forced on us.

Unfortunately too many Bod’s are very poor on monitoring buybacks. Foolish not to scoop them up at this ridiculous price, but fewer photo shoots and more concentrating on nitty gritty would aid the share price. I feel that shorters under 0.5% may have jumped in when news leaked on Friday. Clearly it did!! Should be investigated but never is in the UK. SEC in the US would roast them. This is blatantly being tightly manipulated right now. Drop of 4p in 45 seconds this p.m. !?! Hang in there y’all.

Big cut is not warranted. High margin dip at 3% yes. But low margin climb at 5%. Imbalanced certainly, but we are in volatile economic times. Yes these brokers have agendas and often are in partnership with City buyers who want to hoover up cheaply. Look at Goldman Sachs and Glencore in 2015. Drove it to 65p!!!! The City usually overreacts to big drops in Broker analyses…warranted or not. AuM are fairly solid if year over, just dippingvin Q3.

I of course added at £2.06.5 a bit too early.My ave is of course higher than this. In my opinion it will not recover over £2.10p for a while ( strong dollar) so it’s a waiting game.. Dearly hoping Trump does not get in not just for this reason!!

Props -wise-and Mirrorwing a good respectful all-round view. However, patience kept me in POG, Trin and 4D. 4D was run and liquidated by conmen who planned it for 5 years, shares were owned by thousands, institutions, Sharesoc directors and corporate lawyers( I ran the shareholder action group which had lost over £20m) , POG was inept and also went into liquidation. Trin is just inept. Held Trin for 10 years. Patience is certainly as dangerous as impatience. Poor lack of caution is the killer. And too much trust. Good posts though.

I was just trying to encourage people to research wisely. No more.

We have just admitted we made wrong decisions ! I don’t think we need to be re-told that we fell for spin and bought the wrong shares. We have already said that several times. A redundant comment which does not actully help anyone, except to reinforce research and caution.

I urge you to check out Ncyt’s share price history. It can lose 20% for no reason in a day. Why? Because they can.

I am sorry you have suffered too. Everything you say is true. The govt. we had and the one we have will not touch the City. They are not interested in shareholders or social morality. It is all about the macro economy ( and with the previous govt. it was about self self self). Not one of the PM’s nor Chancellors had a clue. I have too many qualifications, one post-grad in Macro Economics. I am still in shock. AIM has zero regulation. Its job is indeed to make lifestyle companies who fleece mug investors like me. I lost my work due to Covid too, and have been broke for 2 years as 4D went into liquidatio and took my last bit. I ran a 355 strong shareholder campaign with solicitors involved for 2 years but the CEO of 4D was an ex-lawyer himself and had it all sewn up. Despicable man. He had it all planned for years. Ruined lives.

My health is now very poor ( anxiety and depression) as a result of losses and minimal lifestyle. I saved and invested all my life. Better to never have had it at all than to have lost it through fraud. This is not a ‘woe is me’ . It is a fury-filled description of how the country has been run by people who genuinely do not care!! Regulation as in the US( incl. Article 11) would easily address this.

Stay out of Ncyt and AIM I say to all and sundry.

UK is pathetic. Nigh zero regulations. The US is very very stringent with its company watchdogs and here criminals flourish.

One person here may well have a ramping agenda, but the rest of you have feet on ground. Anyone thinking of buying Ncyt, I suggest you put money in a safer place. It is run by numpties sho don’t communicate, and have lost so much kudos that they can never get a shareholder quorate for an AGM Ncyt is run by Mm’s. It responds to volume and they will try to fool you into buying. Well done those that made money here. It was on the back of sentiment, volume and nothing real. Hence the falling price now as they try to lure people in.

Advice from a seasoned and cauterised Novacyt holder. Get out while you can. You could have made good money if you played it right but you can get stuck in negative equity on these vicious drops. It can go much(!!) further.

I have no agenda. Will not buy Ncyt at any price. A company that treats its shareholders like cannon fodder and the market just plays with the price.

Do not trust this as an investment. Make your money and leave or just leave. I learned the hard way.

Big drop due to US jobs data, a reset for instis to buy back in, and -not to forget-the buyback is now complete at $50m bought.

It is an opportunity for stamp duty free buying for the instis in a huge financial business at a cheap price.

I expect to see a weak price for a while and even possibly down to £2 or below.

My ave. is £2.18.6p so I am not a happy bunny and did not see it coming. My bad.

Just patience to hold some pain as it may drop further. It is an easy share to manipulate, which they readily do!

It would be a massive event for PFC to fall into Admin. Carillion went down in a very hard environment having screwed up multiple contracts. Not sure PFC is unsuccessful at what it does. But yes any company can. Debt and creditors default are the keys.

Would be very dismayed and rather ruined for that to happen.

Same time last year the same happened as now. Worth remembering.
