Unsecured and secured debt all paid off December 2016. Tax losses are not same as debt. Trin owes nothing except on production ( royalties and SPT) much of which is offset by tax credits. Tax losses are hugely beneficial by negating PPT for many years to come.
Tax losses are NOT debt.
Trin is wholly debt-free and only pays equivalent of“income” tax.
OT I also believe the put/call no longer penalises above $60.
Expired last December. New hedging arrangements.

Indeed we did push the point re. dividend. It was mentioned anyway. I think this is a period of transition . Waiting for HAW results and building cash . I do not feel tgat shareholders are rewarded aenough for loyalty and a dividend is or should soon be appropriate. The only way to push tgis is tell them so. Very very strong results. HAW production imminent. Interview with Jeremy is very high quality. Tgal progressing. SPT “ catered for”. . Next few weeks look extremely interesting. Tgal prospects of up to 4000 extra bopd now looks pretty definite. Top time to buy in at 11p !!!

As a Trin holder this is my first time on your board as I never post if I don’t hold ( until now). Glad to see you guys getting some upwards relief today . ( I have no agenda btw !!)

I was referring to the time since Trin was refinanced on 6th Jan 2017. I probably didn’t say that.
Yes I have had to sell some too .
(My lowest holding on record was a few hundred quid to my name in July 2016 when Trin was frozen and in effect worth nothing)
Atm holding is worth about a half of its value in 2017 and less than 3/8 of May last year.
So there we go.

I was just giving my global take on Trin following recent decently informative RNS and having been pretty despondent and mildly critical myself at 10p. I think that Trin’s proactivity is a turnaround...especially in a low WTI environment. Hence my emphasis on hedging in this fickle environment. I’m sure you know the intricacies of hedging better than me. My take on the £ is not that important if incorrect . WTI and hedging/ drilling ...especially initial HAW outcome / election in 6 months/ Tgal output in 2 yrs( too bloody long off for my soul) .......these are the uplifters along with institutional buying .
You don’t need me to tell u any of this.
I was kind of retorting to some negativity about Trin in actuality.

Still confident this will work out. We all know my historical humungous life savings loss. Don’t need to harp on about it...toughest 5 yrs since I was a kid.
Cash and drilling program. Hedging against Trump’s paper oil manipulations.SPT mitigated a tad. Tgal planned. Elections in Jan with all to play for. Heritage and BHP possible tie-up ( speculation). Driving season nearly over in US so oil should rise. HAW. Results in 5 weeks detailing drilling update. IMO it is steady as she blows. There are many more exciting stocks like Premier or Bloe or TXP even but you can lose it all too. I trust nobody in the stock market. Safe enough here though. I would buy if I could.

I wish I’d sold at 27 but I was fooled like everyone else. I held on and lost out. But it’s history. Regret it but it’s history. . Now at my lowest value holding on record and it’s tough. But it’s all about superhuman patience( which I don’t have either) and trust. I can see this coming together. Not as soon as I would like as £ is tough. But eventually.To me it’s the hedging that is the icing now. I know it costs. But so does low WTI and dumass SPT. Get rid of tgos govt......that’d be the real icing on tge cake!!

But if ypu think the s/p is not gonna go anywhere shove it somewhere else. I recommend Glencore at £2.28p right now. A steal. It’ll rebpund like a rocket. I woukd have to sell on big loss to buy. Or I would.
No point stayingbin Trin if you feel it’s a wasted cause. Me? I won’t sell to the minions out pf pure spite. Hate the market muppets. And they will shove this up again just like last week on a whim .
We are in same boat . I screwed up on my spare cash elsewhere so I am risk averse right now and on an overdraft. Trin is safest haven around atm.

But it’s not Trin. It’s the market. Fickle. Short-term. Massaged and manipulated.
Trin is solid. Its share price is not.
Nothing they would like more than for us to sell cheaply in disgust. They put up price to 14p last week for new buyers. Slump it on low volume and to p*** prople off into selling. The trading action did not warrant the drop today. It was machinated. Maybe to test stop-losses and peoples’ nerves.

Not same old Trin or we wouldn’t see institutional buyers ( David and Monique) and the chunky buyer. Read IC again.
My portfolio is at an all time low since Trin refinanced and I am leveraged..stupidly.
My bad. The market has savaged all my shares. Even those I don’t own...just look at commodity companies like Glencore.

Trin has 8 wells to drill...4+ presentations in next 2 months...Sep update ...HAW perhaps this month or next...hedging already come into play. All is not rosy re. s/p but Trin are doing a solid job. They are victims of a fickle bunch of marketeers as are we. I thought this had legs too. The big big game changer may be the elections.

Snowman you are entitled to your view. I am a sceptic re. politics . I jave a University degree in it which takes me from Romans to Reagan, And the 40 or so years since of real-life political involvement. I am an utter cynic regarding politics as I have met many of the culprits who call themselves politicians and have been involved with Strasbourg and Brussels. If it depends on political whim then I am with you. If it depends on statutory and mandatory regulations as Mr. T says then I will take that fully into account. The cynic in me sits on the fence. I have seen much. But it would be grossly arrogant not to heed trust in processes as Mr. T says. We are each entitled to air our opinion and not be attacked for it.
I dearly trust this project will come to final fruition though.

I prefer to agree with you. Very much so as I have much at stake. So I choose to go along with what you assert. I was really just supporting Snowman’s right to question. And displaying my political cynicism ha ing been involved in politics for 40 + years . I have seen many Machiavellian tricks. I prefer your path though
