As I posted yesterday ,I rang Allenby the Nomad responsible for Placing . We are to hear in die course-before the meeting-what the allocation will be. In effect it is like a mini Rights Issue. You’re told how many per existing shares held that you can purchase at 0.3p.
Likely to be backdated to Monday holders if it’s run fairly.
So going on past experience....who knows? :-/
Danger of flipping always exists. This usually suppresses price. Silly really to flip on a share which explodes so readily . But each to their own.

And Set 1. I don’t like to take sides but in the context of others disagreeing ( perfectly acceptable) I still agree with your comments on business prudence re. Islandmagee. After all this time.....still a concept in motion. Happy to be wrong but I agree they should’ve stuck to one ventire to completion and promises are delayed and extended. Again and again. But like I said before I head off home...we’ve got to roll with it. My well- known sister share has also bled me quite dry. Horrendously so. More than in the ring it feels actually. All time low since refinancing. JFK is well-aware!! Gas........and oil :-( Sigh.....

Disagreeing respectfully is at the core of any decent debate. So is getting pi** ed off and being irrational sometimes’cos we’re human. At 0.32 was a buy. 0.31 to sell at 4.29.

I see value in all sides here. I err on the side of Set 1 in that I entered a simple company 3 yrs ago and feel it is rather gung ho at our expense. We all have our own views which I acknowledge. I am fed up with losing money ( caveat emptor of course) and can be cranky and bite back.
( my comment on JW...really about the corrupt City and probably unfair of me as Placings are the norm). I guess I’m just sick of Placings and dilution and hate shareholders being easy meat. Which we are.

I am an old hand at this game. 35 yrs in the stock market which has changed beyond recognition. And I still get things wrong of course. So does Mr. Buffet. I have a strong sense of right and wrong. Morality.

We will sit at 30/31 or lower for extended period as shareholders flip as do new buyers. Never-Ending Story.

Phoned Allenby. There will be opportunity for shareholders to buy at Placing price as stated but details( allocation) not announced yet.
On a personal basis I find it utterly shameful and worthy of FCA investigation that the Placing details were leaked to the market on Froday again(!) and systematically abused. Utterly shameful and if provable probably breaking FCA rules. But the get away with sh** in the City.
Interesting that Trinity Placing last May was not leaked. Sudden wham on the day. Different broker ....not that that has to be relevant.
Shameful of Infa for the 4th time. I did mention it gave signals of a Placing on Friday but shameful nevertheless Mr. Wood. But I expect your sleep will not be disturbed.

at Placing price. I answer my own question. Non-investors will pay more unless it drops below Placing price.
I would expect details will be rns’d this week. Well before AGM. If I were a new investor I would be buying now as they may include these investors and it’s still dirt cheap. Need details asap.

I agree. They seem to want to run before walking . Both new projects were unnecessary and shareholder-abusive. Should have concentrated on IMager. Like me you have been through 4 Placings. Each one was leaked. I know some peple dosagree but it’s too gung-ho.
Ultimately we have to roll with it and give it time. Same happened with Trin May last year. Placing at 28p. Wish I’d sold. Now 9p.
Both of these companies see shareholders as easy meat and ultimately wholly dispensable-as most companies do these days I suggest.
The practical response is to sit it out.
I read that investors will get a chance to buy at the Placing price of 0.3p. Is this correct?? If so when and how???

Will bring this together. That’s all. I also have a lack of patience. Normal. Large 5 figure loss. It’s not gonna be any clearer for at least 4 weeks. Then longer.

I strongly encourage people not to sell tomorrow as I have great experience of how mm’s can take advantage of sentiment. I also know for a fact thet they read these boards. Empirically proven. Please do not expect good news or you may be gutted. That does not mean there will not be any. I have been down that rocky road many times. Losing in 5 numbers here. A lot of money. I have no expectations and have only experienced misery in Placings in the short term. Hence hold on.
I have been in here since the takeover. Before JW. Before the takeover it was a lifestyle company paying big wages to people doing nothing . I mean nothing.
At least now things are happening. Do not let the have your shares for nothing...especially if it goes very low....
Expect the worst and you will not be disappointed.
Anything positive is a bonus.

Knowing Placings as I do ( been through 8 in my time and one 15:1 rights issue that screwed me) , I expect the market to take advantage tomorrow. I would like to urge/encourage holders to hang in and hold onto a company that is actually moving on for real

We usually find that the Placing price is below the “ leaked” price of the preceding day.
Then the share price usually dips for a period below the Placing price.
Just talking about each previous Placing.
Just preparing myself and sharing. (Doesn’t mean it has to happen in this Placing.Can never know. Just each previous time).

Well Happy 70th !!! Genuinely. I’m only slightly younger than you. Been ravaged by stock market in last 5 yrs and lost 70 % of life savings. But it is how it is.

4th time I have been tapped in a Placing here. All four leaked. On such a loss it was not worth selling.
Placing guess = 0.25p
Am I right to assume the Placees have already been nominated/chosen/agreed as other times??
I.e. we are not going to be directly tapped as in Rights Issue. Placees already agreed , done and dusted by close of play Friday?
That’s how they did it before.
I am expecting a drop to at least 0.3p
Now I don’t know if I’m being overly negative re. price but have been stung 3 times before already. Sensible analyses welcome. Unhappy bunny on (humungous) loss...like all (?) others I assume.

The Goehring and Rosenzwig commodity reports are highly detailed and very well researched. They have suggested shale issues before but technology and the US art of cover-up has suppressed an evaluation ( second tier expense ). Not read this one yet. They are intelligent and highly respected. I wonder if they are factoring in or mentioning the false media hype and the political control of information including EIA data and storage as much as actual bopd ( exports are a big draw!!). Unfortunatley we are fed untruths on a consistent basis by the media and US govt. ( and many other govts.) so supply/demand has gone back to being just a principle . Demand has not diminished in my opinion. Not at all. It is muted due to uncertainty but waiting at the starting blocks and probably not down at all in countries such as India-ignored by focus on China....also growing but stomped on by Trump.
Ultimately I stand with Confounded re oil.
But I also want to reiterate the place of geopolitical uncertainty that cannot be papered over like Iran/Saudi drones. This is absolutely not being factored in!!!
You only have to read the more intelligent oil reports to recognize it’s not just my idiosyncratic view.
It can turn on a sixpence and Trin is poised for that time.
