I hope that is the case. I am not holding a small quantity. I have made big mistakes before. I am hoping that the company will eventually be valued appropriately .

Gggs. Hope you are right re unloaded. I have the suspicion that they have more to sell yet. I prefer ypur version but watched all the ups and downs today rememiscent of a Lansdowne day.

Frustration comes with buying shares. Often it involves waiting in uncertainty.I am no different. SNG is particularly difficult as it is being played like a harp by the big boys for much short term profit.
They have made a fortune and still are.
I am highly aware that private investors are often taken for a ride but would hope that SNG are successful with initial tests. Time is of the essence though. Cannot wait. Needs expediting. If anyone sits on hands then the application will have passed. It has a head start on other drugs being tested as it has a proven lung-based antiviral effect.
The issue with a vaccine which is being touted by the media ( and Blundeeing Boris ffs) is that vaccines are given to more people. They are not just given to patients. They need to go through many trials and safety checks. Would you like a damaged liver? They may need to ne hiven to vulnerable children and old people as preventitive. They need to be checked and checked and checked.
There is a certsin amount of hopeful hype being played by the media and govt. September ? Half population of UK by Astrazenica? And the test done on 8 people in the US? I remember MMR and its alleged effects. Thalidomide. Vioxx recently. Many more. Treatments like proven and safe interferon a or b are the support for the vulnerable at an early stage and may allow the economy to restart. A vaccine is needed but I have learned not to believe what I read.

Difficult to say. As a holder of a great many of these shares I have learnrd to just take what comes. I moot that it will stay 54-57 today but that’s just my opinion.
It is hard waiting but that is the nature of certain sharrs expectinh news. I feel ( right or wrong) that Lansdown are selling still and the market just wants to keep it here.
Proximity of potential news has not supported the price yet apart from a 53 level to date. If things look promising then mm’s will try to relieve us of sharrs vjeaply before reflecting it in the price anyway.
Unless volume takes over.
Atm it seems to tevolve atound Placees offloading . Potential accumulator but that could be speculation. As private investors we are the last to know .
I think we will stay here or dip today. But that is an educated guess on former action.
Next week....who knows? Floor so far is 53 but floors can ne broken. Ceiling of 74/5 is not readily re-avaiilable at present it seems to me. S/p being suppressed . Perhaps Lansdowme are happy at a 20p profit per share. Sounds like easy money.
I personally expect stagnation today.
Next week is a new week But as a large holder-I guess there are a few(?) I have to be willing to wake and sleep with calculated risk which has mich knowledge of the drug already and roll with whatever is. Waiting and not being in control. Of what happens.That’s the stock market!

I resonate with your post. I am involved with certain political covid social measures. More emphasis is being placed on existing alleviative drugs and new trials for drugs providing immunity support in lungs. The Oxford vaccine grpups have many many hoops to jump through. Alleviation and lifesaving are the urgent focus and some virologists moot that coronavirus ( mmany types of such) may not support a vaccine.
Saving the vulnerable is our primary goal at this stage. Interferon alpha or beta at an early stage is all but proven. It just needs to pass trials and be fast tracked to licencing. Safety is almost a given.

Yesterday was simply an orchestrated chance to sell a set amount of shares ( Lansdowne or not) at a more profitable price.

I got 2 kids and am a teacher. Hey Sharesting I get far more immature and ometimes nasty behaviour on these chatboards than ever at school. And far more immaturity from parents than from kids a lot of the time. Never put kids down.
Btw my feeling is that Lansdowne will continue to offload. I may be wrong of course. Experience of funds and opinion.
Regarding numpties on chatboards-my filter is chocka and some of the most arrogant or immature or spiteful behaviour and comments I have experienced in life have been from”adults” on chatboards.Kids = fine

Your question not directed at me but I have always seen 70-75p as the desired price to offload leech trading institutions’ shares bought regularly in the fifties or Placing. as well as Lansdowne offloading. Last time I thought proximity of results might support. Didn’t happen. This time may be different but I still feel that coty traders are milking this for all they can. A bit like before Carillion went down or when Petrofac was accused by the watchdog of corruption. Opportunism in the City. I wouldn’t bet on SNG breaking 75p before news. Then if the news is positive it’ll perhaps( always perhaps) multimegabag.

Well after Boris’s plans I would say that there will doubtlessly and dadly be plenty of use for SNG001 when the trsts are over. I feel the Jily promise is a sweetener to allay unrest but the schools plan is barmy. I am a schooteacher and am involved in politics but don’t flagelllate me for either please. Plain barmy and far too early to be safe.

Length of time for 001 to be licenced is a big issue though. Needs to be fast fast -tracked.

For SNG investors it guarantees a market but the licencing will be some while off. That is so damn sad .

Bb’s often used as way of gauging p/i sentiment. Shorters often read them too. With SNG the trades are unrelated in any way to bulletin board activity I feel. What we do is not of import IMO.
Other far more influential factors.

Brief random interjection. I have many first -hand experiences of message boards influencing price. Like interferon-different pathways. I once actually did a test myself after a trading price anomaly which I mentioned in order to get people to take advantage and see if the message board was being read. Lo and behold ...hours of anomaly. Instant change. Mm’s are known to hang on message boards.
Other ways are by posts influencing private investors of course.
At the moment I feel it is not the case here. Usually lower volume shares. Other dynamics already mentioned are driving SNG share price. Just personal anecdotal experience to flesh out how sly t market muppets are.There is a book published about their historical and present tricks.
I have experienced many and still do..even in the way they manage this share price. Getting to know their many modi operandi is very important.

It’s a wait’n see job. But as a poster said, it would not have been used at home if not tolerated on hospital covid patients. Top slicing is cool if you have that many at a low price. If you have the guts then hold:-)
We unfortunately have a worsening scenario in Russia and in the US ( the latter’s own doing) and a proven early intervention drug would be needed for many many months ahead as economies open up and cases may re-rise.
Interferon ( whatever the type) is featuring strongly in the news as early intervention . But as one pister has mentioned, the immune system can cause damage itself when overstimulated by high viral activity and can cause cellular carnage all on its own ( a common occurence in many illnesses and can lead to inflammation which allows viral easy passage).
Until a vaccine it can be used in conjunction with later antibirals or anti malarials even.
As a trader I haven’t a clue where this is going short term (3-4 weeks).

Interesting Crookie. Thanks for that. This share is being held as tight as any I have known. Carefully carefully massaged and manipulated. The I million buy /sell at 60p yesterday dod not dent the share price. I remember Stobart a year ago...Tullow regularly...Glencore 2015...Petrofac...Capita etc. Not sure I have seen one that mirrors the complete control mm’s have qite like this of late. The movement is only occasionally news-related. 55-75 are distinct boundaries which incite my profit taking hypothesis which may be untrue. But seen it many times in a traders share.
Tomorrow may see drift down as often on Fridays but we’ll see.

Been here on this helter skelter so long that I have lost any meaning in the trades and don’t know what to believe. Guess shoulda sold at 70. Slight profit. I though proximity of results might support share price. I still suspect random city trading houses controlling price until they want it up again to realize stonking short term profit. Just my opinion. If you are right about Lansdown being nearly out of ammo then that may reduce pressure. I’m just so skeptical about any hypothesis not because it’s necessarily wrong.just that the City is always one step ahead of our efforts to piece together the jigsaw.
I assume that the position taking is real enough but have so much experience of p/i’s being cannon fodder that I am wary of any piece of the jigsaw.
I guess patient results will be next week or week after. At home results? You guys know more than me. Traders will play their games betwixt times nevertheless. That I am sure of.
