As mentioned all 4 of family had covid. Nothing that bad. But lost 3 people I know. Nearly 900 in UK today. Sooner these new drugs available better.

Symairgen have been in contact with US over Sng001 when Sars ( and Mers) were rife. . It’s a shame they slipped from grace after listing. They have had much success with asthma and copd ( my son and wife have asthma and wife copd) as well as finrosis. The inane lifting of lockdowns in US will lead to chaos I am sure. More than 2,500 deaths only today !! Highest yet.
Vaccine a way off. And needs proper clinical testing to be released...fast-tracked or not. Interferon b needs to be approved pronto. Results of 100 double-blind placebo covid test possibly mid May.
Interferon has pretty much been proven on copd/asthma and anyone elsefighting any coronavirus. I’m just trying to put jigsaw together too as things change rapidly. UK bad cases and bad death rate. ( Why?) . US inviting the worst and getting it. Roll on results. Thanks for clarification.

As a person who is more than a little knowledgeable regarding disease-whether parasitic/viral/fungal/bact ....It is important to make clear that an arsenal of medication is only isually used as a last resort. Single drug treatments are the norm unless the illness is one that routinely requires a ****tail ( like TB or regular pneumonia). Doctors will normally pick one appropriate treatment to start with. Interferon beta can however be used as a support system because of its versatile nature which does all sorts of things to act within and to promote the immune system. I think Synairgen would have to explain its application on covid patients in concert with other drugs after the trial..assuming it has some success. .
Hard to see that it won’t . But like chloroquine used for malarie-it allegedly helps against covid but not at an advanced stage . All so darned complex. Covid is a really unusual coronavirus anyway in many ways. Smallpox-the boggest killer of mankind-is highly infectious but not as much as covid !! Sorry for all the unnecessary stuff.

What a supportive bunch of posts and posters. Thanks guys. Covid has taken a few who have no weaknesses and there have been 3 16-25 yr. olds near me that I know of who succumbed. For those whose immune system it does not suppress, it is no more than a weird cold or flu with cough. We all had the weirdest symptoms like loss of taste(?) but we did not get it badly apart from my 3 week cough. I mention this oit of interest but also because SNG oo1 ( interferon +) replaces the immune kickstart which covid suppresses. For most people covid is hardly worse than mild flu. But for those who have their immunity “ blocked” Synairgen could prove a saver of many many lives- like chloroquine or retrovir but more targeting. I deeply appreciate supportive posts. Thanks.
I don’t intend to crystallize loss. I think the tests done so far regarding copd and sngoo1 give it a boost. I have much trading experience and many losses. I know how devious MM’s really are. It’s not an old wives’ tale. Lots of things could be causing this pullback and they would love private investors to sell out of panic or boredom or any other readon. They thrive on it. It’s not just rumour. I will hold and encourage others in their own situations to do so. To have green light from 2 govt. agencies is not common in pharmas.
Results of covid tests ( 100 patients?) needs to be fast-tracked though. In Europe anyway. No point releasing it after the fact.
US might need it for longer . :-(

I second the last post for all the carers.
I am incandescent with Trump for inviting a personal US increase in the pandemic as I know how easily it will be passed on . He should be indited for complicity in homicide whenever his term is up. Germany is clear and Spain and Italy clearing due to lockdown discipline.
On a more financial mote-I am on a large loss now. Topped up at 69p. Is the drop a result of Placing sellers(?) Flippers? Instis cashing in profit? Stop Losses?
Any sensible opinions welcome
