He is an academic. Not a businessman. We share much. I hope he employs some business acumen into his academic exactitude ! Universities are often at the forefront of research...especially in Oxford and Cambridge...alongside the businesses which are research-based.

My wife has copd. My brother new heart valves. He cannot come away from his house. People with copd / diabetes/ heart problems etc cannot be exposed to covid. And finally Sng have a funded trial for a deadly disease. The covid trend has faded in investing ? Maybe ..but the real problem here has simply been institutional selling from a Placing. Maybe they caught thectrend. Who knows. But I feel it was all planned.
Interferon is not a smartie bean though.

What abput all those elderly and vulnerable who still have not left the house? They need an effective treatment to stay alive. It’s not just abput R rate and numbers. They are not collateral damage and are still in lockdown as covid is still around. We are not free of it like NZ.
Also the US and India and Brazil are still having a helluva time. No proven treatment. The economy has opened up yes. But only a few days ago here.
Investors may have left but the need for the drug continues. A second wave will unlikely be as widespread but people will still die without treatment!! And watch out in the wonter!! Covid is still here for goodness sake. The vulnerable seem to have been forgotten. They cannot come out and be free without efficient lifesaving medication. The rate was always going to drop . Due to lockdown. 2+2

I am utterly confounded and flabbergasted by the number of people this week who have posted randomly-some quite spitefully. Often the case when anonymous on a BB. No offence Warwick. It’s just that there have been so many random posters spouting doom . Why? They must get some thing out of it. Schadenfreude I guess ( joy in the pain of others). Who knows!

Does that mean someone has to have bought them though? I never know if the middle men hold them. I have known ii’s dump bigtime but don’t know if mm’s just take them cheap and sit on them to sell on the market.

Some of the negativity ( and disrespect ) here is typical on these boards. I don’t agree with the overt pie in the sky ramping. Silly. This will not mega-bounce.
But give the doom a break please. Load of rubbish about company and ii complicity to draw in investors. Ii’s certainly. But that’s their corrupt game. Give the despair and irrational doom a break. These are kosher trials. I have read enough armageddon scenarios in one day here.
I don’t even mind the mid fifties in a week fantasy. Actually quite refreshing.

My wife has copd and survived covid. My eldest son asthma and we think he had it too. I definitely had it ( classic cough) as did my youngest (26) who lost taste and smell.
Covid still has no verifiable treatment. Elderly and those with conditions have still not been exposed. Even if numbers are down are these people expendable???
They need a proven protection. Vaccine is not yet proven nor tested for safety. Many many drugs have been removed after horrific and sometimrs terminal side effects. One last month in the US. Antiinflammatory here 3 years ago for causing ulcers. Thalidomide. Many more...and these were tested ! Imagine a vaccine give to millions that caused cancer. We still need covid treatment for the vulnerable who have not yet been exposed!! The media and govt. trumpeting success have not mentioned that today!!!! Thousands are vulnerable when they come out of their front doors. My brother has replacement heart valves and is on many drugs. Been in his own house for 3 months..nowhere else. My 90 yr old mother too. The covid fatigued investors have not recognised this. The govt. just want to regain their lost street cred. !!! Cummings and Mr. Bumble’s pathetic management. Not hard to work out .
So yes. COPD is a long term prize. And finrosis ( my wife’s dad died of it). But covid still needs addressing. Trolls are trolls and the acidity today was mean..even against me. But even this board seems to have forgotten about the need for verified ovid treatment just because the share price plummets. I’m prob. sitting on one of biggest losses here. And it hurts. But the company has not gone bust. And its product is not novel. It’s tried and tested against other coronaviruses.

Not sure how hard that’ll be to reach again . Very very large paper loss. Yes I recognize someone offloading now. Lansdowne? Omnis? Chelverton. Can’t see Polar or Miton selling as they just bought.

Covid has lessened in UK. It had to . Lockdown has a result. Now what will SNG have to offer ? That is the question.
Trial results are the litmus test of course.
The market is either reacting to covid fatigue or ii selling or both.
I sense much patience needed here.

I can be wrong but not intentionally.
I find it hard to know what is a buy and sell in delayed shares.
Well I still feel nothing essentially has changed except paper trades and sentiment. It hurts a lot but it is a paper loss. Is this company worth the parity market cap to its Placing?? Some are hopeful and some doomsayers. I don’t see a rise in a hurry and today caught me out.
But I see this as a paper issue.

No proof anyone is dumping. Mm’s can do what they like with a share price when asked nicely.

No evidence that p/i’s are selling. Anxiety may be high but the trades are mostly typical institutional. Many not of course but I suspect some have bought in or averaging down.
I don’t think Sharesting was being naive earlier...I see this as ii’s selling and buying.
And the market reacting to short-term covid news.
