Hope you don’t mind me answering your question. Ncyt is down as it is detached from the company and has become a traders’s share. A very common phenomenon ( I am an unwilling expert on it sine online trading and partiicularly post 2008. ) which I possibly boringly commentate on. It is not related to real events in this stage. It lasts a while until they unhook and move on.
Best to see it as a virtual share right now.

PCR and Ncyt’s business plans wholly both sound and disconnected from the profiteered price.

It may be healthy to have low expectations for some while. Not a popular post but meant to be truthful.
This will be played with for a while yet.
No problem in looking in but too often may be disheartening.
It is well and truly being played like a harp for short term institutional and City traders. Likely to be here for quite a while so may be good to have own coping philosophy/strategy. Normally absolute minimum 5/6 weeks for these games to even start to settle.
Like I said...possibly not what many people want to hear but IMO very very likely wih no news.

In the middle of the short-term City traders’ profiteering scheme. Usual scenario. Past the half-way line but not off the field yet.
As I said Friday ..the trading pattern pointed to a re-slump today. Lo and behold.
It allows cheap buying for favoured customers.
Same old pattern.
Divorced from reality of value.
One might consider Avacta a reason but not really. Ncyt is still just being played for profit. I expect this low range for 2-3 days. That’s the usual pattern.
Always can be wrong of course. Clammy hands can do as they wish with the price. Especially on reading these boards and seeiing their games recognized .
But these patterns do have patterns. Seen it so so so many times. The unpredictable still remains there but their modus operandi when they have their teeth in is ALWAYS the same.

Blackrock. Reasons for both. -that’s because Tullow was oil ( which went below $20 last year) and heavily leveraged. And shorted. Also had drilling problems latterly. Tullow’s debt is its issue. Petrofac’s issue was loss of clients and contracts due to the legal allegations and a few being found guilty of bribery/fraud. Glencore got to 65p in Feb 2015 . Now almost back to £3 even after last year. No serious issues. BHP the same. Those two shares ( Tullow and Pfac) have good reason for not going back up!!
Plus 500 did....with a vengeance. Got to below £6 .18 months ago. Now over £14.
Ncyt no reason to stay low!!!
Harchris...we have no control over a high volume traders’ share. We can occasionally influence a low volume share. The pattern is dictated by the market makers and their clients. Sometimes purely by the market makers. Trading patterns are either manufactured by mm’s or are just the result of trading.
Mm’s can put this share up £1 in 10 mins just for the hell of it if they wanted. They only do that in reality to permit clients to sell high who have bought low . Or on news.
In Ncyt the trading patterns are very bolatile and short-lived. Unlike many other shares. Ncyt is a real traders’ share and can be £7.10 one day and £8.50 the next. Or sit between 740 and 780. There are only very short lived patterns here in Ncyt. It’s a real casino share and IMHO will continue for a while as such. Divorced from any market reality.
We can only watch and try to take advantage .
The only pattern here is that it is suppressed and played with.
I don’t write this lightly as I am on a large 5 figure loss . My bad.
No debt/large client base/ebidta forecast high for 2021. Testing forecast high into 2022. Ncyt moving into different fields ( instrumentation). Large cash reserves and investment in new areas. And much more.
These are the realities. What is going on now is irritating or depressing or something else to anyone...but it is white noise and just ahort term profiteering and we can do nothing about it except decide what we will do with the shares we own.
This is no Tullow or Pfac. It has a solid and diversifying client base and predictable 2021 income -DHSC or not.

Sometimes these chatboards are their own worst enemy though. Curiously the more “fragile” a share is shown to be in punters hands the longer it is played with.
Opposite also true. The more readily bought a share is ..the same).
I assume it is because of stop-losses and poor sentiment leading to depressed sells. I have seen muuch of the latter.
P/i’s impatience is their own worst enemy .( I have it too but I won’t be conned because of my own lack of patience or boredom). Just an observation. Right or wrong. But I think right.
It is good to know that only when the traders have squeezed the sellers out will they move on.
It’s just a very effective waybof making money.
If anyone has the inclanation...just check out an exaple. Maybe Plus 500 in 2019. Or Petrofac 2015. Or Tullow 2015. See how long the intense volatility at alow price lasted.

I was talking short term trading as was asked.
One often finds a share will languish low to allow secretive accumulation on expectation of news. US contract/DHSC/ etc. I walk with you on possibilities of £14.
Certainly. This year’s profit ought to eclipse last year’s for many many reasons.
The 130 cpuntries who use Ncyt are still paying and the new staff are for particular reasons. Patience to reap rewards.
But only in the right share and the right company. All it needs is a teeny weeny RNS for this to go up 10% + ( assays te. mutations). At £7:50 this is just trader playtime and on positive news £14 is a very achievable goal .

DHSC contract extension confirmed would certainly send this flying and any positive RNS. But without news it could go down again or creep up in anticipation.
Essentially there is too much private and City interest in Ncyt right now to expect revaluation. Happy to be wrong . And hope I am .

One can never be quite sure. Also they read these boards to gauge sentiment so one has to be careful.
It is hard to know.
Already been 3 weeks. The more private investor emotion there is the longer they tend to play these shares. I would not want to give you false information. ONly when public interest has faded a little and there are greener fields elsewhere does the share settle. News catches them offguard but there is a lot of insider info leaks anyway. We see that with Placings a lot. I hazard a very loose guess of Ncyt being played for 4-6 weeks yet. And it could be longer or shorter.
The important thing to know is that it is divorced from intrinsic value and controlled at will for daily or weekly cumulative purchases. They shoot it up at maybe 4:20 or anytime in order to allow their customers to sell.
Thursday was so obvious!!! Up 12% in 5 minutes!!
Then back down.
They finished at a steady 749p on Friday and set thexsell at 745. Often this means a large spread first thing Monday and a low sell price. The spread then decreases and we see the price then lowered to facilitate buying ( private and favoured customers). Then the price is slam-dunked to allow city traders to pile in after privates have bought
Now of course this is not set in stone or I’d be rich. We may see a trickle rise on Monday but unlikely a spike. Spikes are used to allow the favoured to sell or of course on genuine news and a flood of buyers.
The thing to remember is that they are genuinely out to take punters for a ride if they can. You can only try to get to know the trends and habits they use and piggy-back if you get it right.
I am on a loss as I got it wrong. Bought post RNS but before the second slam dunk. Important not to take what I say as fixed . I continually learn . For instance when a share is kept at an exact fairly lowish price like 752p during the day..it very often means they will drop it suddenly. So I wait. And am often right. Sometimes wrong. But often right.
One has to watch what they do time and time again to really feel it.
This is mostly referring to a traders’share. Once out of this pattern things are different. E.g. watch the behaviour of SNG /Orph/Avct. Different. Sng is random!! Orph goes on runs like now. Avct is now news based but was a traders’ share last October.
Please filter all of this stuff ( take or reject at will) and don’t take it as law/rules. It’s just years of observing their games...especially since low interest rates invited punters into the stock market. We are easy meat. Can make money or lose the lot. So having lost the whole lot before..I watch how they work but am still learning.

Everything I say about the market is true and not fantasy. I’m glad you appreciate.
I wish I was younger and had not made some of my appalling trading errors-and some good ones too. I first started trading in 1985 with BT !! I think it was ‘85. Info was only available in Press or TV subtitled info well out of date. Online trading early 200’s changed it all. Even then trades were on paper !! All my experience with City traders and Mm’sare from real experience -often the hard way. By God I have learned so many of their tricks and only wanted to share them in order to equalize. Ncyt is at the middle to late stage of being a traders’s share in their clammy hands. It is ALL manipulated and divorced from the RNS. The lack of news on DHSC contract does not help but it is just virtual food for the uncertainty they feed on. They want shares cheap ( see yesterday 9:00-10:00 ) to sell higher ( 15% yesterday at 4:25. They have many micro games they use to try to get you to buy just before a slam-dunk. Watch and you will see. They tend to latch onto stamp-duty free shares but not always. Tullow was heavily shorted for years and was/is a traders’share with stamp duty. A share which has just plummeted is their first port of call e.g. Petrofac many times. Many others.
I bought in here too early this time round and fell for their double whammy drop. Should have known better.
It is still in their hands. Very important to know this. They can still slam dunk it at will. Time will play it out. Ncyt needs news really. A bit of a failure on their part after this fall. There are communications which they have ignored. But if one is willing to stick it out then just stick it out.
I know more than I should re. Covid. Had it. Involved in politics regarding treatments. DHSC is just so damned slow.
PCR is the only reliable testing. The gold standard.But Boris is not noted for his accuracy of judgments so we will see.
Ncyt has plans for mid and post covid and fgs covid is going nowhere. It’ll be here 2021 and 22 and beyond. We have to adapt to it as a global society via technology and good micro/macro national and international judgment. Travel may never be the same..much like post 9/11. Testing will IMO be a long-term part of society.
Ncyt don’t look after investors well . But caveat emptor. Their financials and short/med AND long term plans are downright sound as apound. It-Ic just goes to show this.
Regarding offensive posts on chatboards like this one. It’s part of the territory but it is a real shame. It puts off posters ( incl me). It’s like going out on the M25 at 8:00 a.m.( We share the world with some people who really do not care much for others and that is the saddest thing. History tells us this. Bosnia/Cambodia/3rd Reich etc etc. And chatboards)

I have nearly as many screws holding me together as Jackie Chan having taught martial arts for 46 years and dine all those crazy things which consultants and doctors put together. One of my consultants has done 6 ops on me-big ones. Put my tricep completely back on and my supraspinatus shoulder tendon -just two) You are 100% right. I was simply saying that they earn more. What a joke the City is. 8% rise in last 15 mins of trading inorder to sell off the shares bought at £7:12p this morning.
Goodwill and praise across society spurred on by the govt. to the NHS slogging guts out on peanuts( apart from GP’s and consultants). Vast spectrum of solid workers from bus drivers to scaffolders across the UK). And the City is allowed to do this daily algorhythmic accumulation and random manipulated sell at a ridiculous profit . . And they don’t even pay stamp duty as tax . It’s a secret world which they like to keep secret except to those of us who see it time and time again.

It helps to know this as it helps keep confidence in fundamentals which are not in question.
Doesn’t help with cynicism though as this is exactly what led to Lehmans 2008 . It won’t happen again.
At least it gives hope that chummies could reinstate the share price when their next Lambo payment is due.

The market is feeding off negative sentiment.
We have choices.
The more negative we get the more the market will drop in order to cream our shares. The oldest tactic.
I’m as p****ed off as hell . But we sell out or grit teeth. IMO we are looking at many many weeks to go up and it is likely to go further down as they are feeding off our low sentiment.
Bear with it mate? I’m suffering too . A lot.

I encourage every single one of us to email how we feel and what we think.
Shareholders are too often abused and neglected.
They ( we) have a voice.
What do you have to lose.

Sometimes CEO’s don’t want a price rise. They can be greedy and contrmptuous and manipulate to buy and sell . I have experienced this. I don’t know GM so don’t want to judge him as such. But my heart and common sende tells me you are right. Why not calm market nerves?
It does not help investor relation scunless you don’t care about private investors.
