Oh yes. 100% manipulated and done in an untraceable un-Hilary Clinton way. All word of mouth and chums. I know them personally and part of my career has been teaching financial studies which was actually crazily wrong and misleading. And even the macro -economics. QE revolutionised monetarism and Keynsianist moves died a death. We have to hang in mate. My loss is back up again . My oilie dropped 6% today. Oil went up!!

I aim to sit it out too. Ultimately it is all speculation. My other share-an oilie-in which I have a great deal..went down curiously. It’s a MCap 65m Aim stock. Stable. But no BP. I’m not thick-skinned enough to follow my own advice to turn away sometimes.

Delusional not to recognize the manipulation. It has got beyond a joke now really. Been here more than 30 times probably but never so blatant for so long. Citychums are quite callously taking advantage of what the govt. and Novacyt are permitting. Rinse and repeat. It’d be good to do Mr. Spock and just raise an eyebrow but I’m afraid it’s contemptuous on my part in a tough world where it’s hard to make a living for many and odds are stacked against us investors. Yes the sharks here are only doing what their teeth are for and growing new ones each time like their biological counterparts but it has really gone beyond the norm now. Doesn’t change my strategy ..just increases my Coty contempt and disappointment in Novacyt. GM et al clearly see what is happening. We can never know the full picture but some soupçon of information or just bl**dy connection with shareholdees would be respectful. The govt. won’t change their laissez-faire. No way. I have tried for about 10 years. Nope.Only one MP turned up for the latest VW emissions meeting in Parliament...so many are lazy bu** ers ! Of course many not. I am blessed with a diamond MP. But for Novacyt to just sit back after 7 weeks of the share being abused borders on outrageous. Can’t know the full picture with Nov. but the City shenanegans are now predictable in their shallow and sad predictability. Lambos paid off now.

It is Novacyt’s negligence of the market and shareholders which is shameful. I know enough about business and the market to know what they can and can’t do. Tho City marketeers are playing on this like a harp. 730 to 682 today to allow buying to allow more short term manipulation. And on and on it will go. Usually there is a fading out but the money is so easy here that it is not happening.
For goodness sake Novacyt. I doubt you read these boards or pay any respect to what shareholders say or feel ...but if you do then just communicate the present position and prospects. It is not rocket science and is the norm for public companies.

Yes. Twice-yearly updates are really poor business communication. They have released the odd RNS like the mutation recognition update. But as trytobuylow says...they need to do the number-cruinching like good businesses do...and get the dull but essential information clear and out there. That’s why weremain a traders’s pawn-share still!!! Come on NCYT. Stop ignoring us. We are part of your duty too.

Harchris...my emails to Ncyt are ignored. They do not seem to be bothered about market updates. It is necessary. A failure on the part of Ncyt in my view.
It does not take much to keep the market and invrestorscin the know. Shame on them.

One can see how ( legal as it is) that one can build resentment towards the City’s corruption. Ncyt don’t seem bothered about communication ( which is not difficult and is part of their stakeholder and shareholder duty) and they are just at the mercy of the sharks in the water. They do not seem to **** a hoot at the share price. Ok long term but mildly abusive to mid and long term holders who have to witness and feel this. Shareholders are easy meat now. It did not used to be so. They used to be treated respectfully and valued. Generally speaking that has died.
The FCA is not interested in dodgy manipulatipn or corruption. Toothless body. Always was as the FSA amd all its other forms. In 2012 the head of the overseeing govt. body for corrupt trading absconded with millions to S.America!! Utterly true!! Couldn’t make it up.
The City is laissez-faire and all but unregulated. Scandalous considering the budget deficit now and public servants’ low pay and long hours. I have given up writing to the FCA and to the govt. via my MP. They do nothing. We are very much in a divided society on this one.

I held BT too but at 99p. Made the error of selling too soon which I am constantly learning from. I bought BT originally when they went public in 1985 !!! OMG. Am I that old? Yes. I am a teacher....not been to school since March last year when I had covid. I was ok but schools pretty much closed down except for Sep/Oct . Open as of Monday. I had my jab last week-AZ. Made me very ill for a day ..iller than covid did but much quicker!! I expect a spike in cases in 3 weeks as kids bring the bug home to family and to each other in school. IMO Boris should have waited until May when all over 50’s are done. Testing at school and by parents via LFT is ( IMO) ridiculously doomed to failure. Too many reasons..inc . reliability of test. Been teacher 39 years. Most of what Boris says is trollop and done for political/ esteem reasons. I am an ex Con member and Boris drove me out. But full credit for the team who organised the vaccine. UK doing so well.

I am in Leighton Buzzard. Used to be a nice little market town. Population doubled in 20 years ( and new housing) and it has become grossly overpopulated and lost much of its soul. Now a commuter town...the biggest in UK without its own hospital. Too much info..sorry. Would prefer to live in the country but one son lives in same town and other is moving from Hampstead to Berkhamsted...he is a radio presenter for Absolute Radio so will have to commute. But it’s better than London!!!
Sorry you are on big loss too. I am just below £9 b/e. As Kaeren says.... this is on a one way ticket though as the company may not communicate often but has its longer term prospects well in hand. Vaccine testing/instrumentation/PCR testing fixed and mobile/constantvinnovation/no debt/rolling ongoing re-invested profit bla bla. Not a virtual company. Proof of pudding already eaten. This is about 40% down in 6 weeks. I can understand 20% through profit-taking but anything less than £9.50 has been marketeering .
Not pleasant on big loss but that’s shares for you! I still feel I want to stick this one away for a while though as one of the mm’s tricks is to creep it up slowly to relieve people before or at breakeven who have been anxious. After the sells they then hike it bigtime. I have seen it SO often!!
And I know they read these boards to find out what people are thinking and doing!

However we are reaching the latter stages of the City Traders’ share span. This should mean more price stability from here on. You can never quite be sure but such is my experience of these share pawns. I am not trying to be clever...just share what I have learned-right or wrong.
Hoping it can be anxiety-relieving for those many on a loss.

I am not moaning about them. Read my posts again. They are all about patience and letting the bar of expectation down. And about accepting what the mm’s do by recognizing what they do. The posts are objective and not bemoaning my lot. I consistently talk about my and others’ responsibility for own decidions and the need to bottom drawer and accept.
