As a schoolteacher for 38 yrs in many schools there is little I have not seen or even done. Tests are mooted. Just like Boris said schools were safe when they certainly are not....I would say that home testing is a mistaken farce. Many parents will not do it and some kids will refuse. Some parents snd /or kids are sure to tell untruths . One cannot put the onus on parents. It won’t work. Period.
But they may do it anyway. 65% success rate LFT? Not sure apart from kudos as to the govt’s rationale. You simply cannot rely upon home testing . You really can’t. And as one poster put....it could create a nice little market.
I have not taught since March as my wife has copd . But she has first jab tomorrow and me Thursday. I will ask some colleagues what the score is.
Not gonna work.
Waste of money and unreliable means of monitoring as implementation cannot be trusted.

My opinion is that airport screening will be a humungpus PCR market. No room for error.I also agree that this is a big instant knee jerk reaction-like last November- that covid will evaporate. It doesn’t work like that. THe world has to stay vigilant . How??? The only way is by testing for infectious diseases. There is optimism and there is blind faith. Blind faith is not based on logic. C19 is not going anywhere fast or long term. Protecting the vulnerable is the only way forward. And that is by vogilance...testing. Mitation or not. Other viruses too. The world cannot sit back but today the market is reacting as if it can.

Thank you to the mature and focussed posters like RBM who analyse EV /Ebidta 2020-2022/ diversified and new products/ cash/no debt and no liquidity problems etc etc. Sometimes the market catches us out...but if the company is not in trouble...it is a paper loss.

I have the habit of selling too early and falling for mm’s seduction games of pretending to lower the share only to hoist it again. A favoured technique I have discovered.
As I said earlier this share iscontrolled by delayed trades. Orders put in earlier. We only have to look after 4:30 to see that. It’s not based on the company at all.
I’m on a very large paper loss too but will sit it out as long as it takes ..2021/2022/2023.....
They certainly will not get my shares on a panic sell. I accept them but have a distaste for the manipulative City games.
The buyers of AMC / BlackberryNokia in the US tried to prove people power 3 weeks ago and won one skirmish but you can’t really win the battle. City always wins. But you can learn their ways and sit them out for as long as it takes. I am so bad at selling too early but hope I have now learned about my weakness.

Ncyt dropped 40% on profit taking? £12:50 to £7:09p. Nope. Not a good enough reason.
Ncyt is a profit machine in 130 countries non-vaccinated and needing testing. And in this country if Boz shows some nouse.
SNG went from £2:50 to 79p and back to £1:70. Avct doubled this morning from its December low.
Ncyt is crushed by the City to £7:09. Or whatever it decides to do.
Can we ride it out. Some people in SNG/ AVCT/ Orph etc did!!!!! And dddd . Whew. They did well in only 5 weeks. £1:03 to £1:49 !!!They did very well thank you very much.
Just to try and truthfully cheer in times of low s/p. Patience is hard .

I am saying that there are issues regarding parents being relied upon to do 2 tests a week. Valid.
And what was plainly obvious was that I was saying that my very well informed neighbour who works with covid and viral treatment tells me lft’s have been proven only 65% effective to date.
2 big problems. 1) Trust parents? Some yes. All never.
2) PCR’s are the only accurate way to monitor transmission in schools.

Schools go back March 8th. They must wear masks but when out of range many many do not . Schools and pubs and social gatherings proven to be greatest soursces of transmission ( schools to parents to grans and grandads). Under 18’s will not get the vaccine. We will have to monitor a potential spike in April IMO.
I don’t mind disagreement but I take offence at uncivil responses and as I always say....it ruins chatboards. Many people get offensive back. It just angers me when someone is doing their best to contribute positively . Think about it.
