I have suspicions that Bozo ( in his never-self-questioned wisdom) has covid-cleansing as a goal. regardless of collateral damage. Economy comes first and herd immunity the way forward….as unlikely as that is with coronaviruses and waning antigens. Or more likely he just doesn’t care. I do know the economy always comes first and not our safety. Care homes?? He should be prosecuted for last year.
So I -and the scientists-can see above 60,000 in November and the chances of new variants.
The sadness is those who will not make through it as a result.
This is a very uncertain 8 or so weeks ahead like last year but we have vaccine and booster. However the cases are rising very very steeply. Mid November will tell I think. Schools and society no protection whatsoever. Lunatics have been in charge of the asylum a long time now and screwed up all they can. Highest death rate in the world in our first world UK. Unforgiveable.
On the back of this is Nov and the other pcr companies. Pcr remains the only true test.
Nov treat s/holders almost as contemptuously as Bozo treats citizens. But it is spot on in the laboratory setting.
I resent it for its secrecy. But the next set of results should see its 80% cash generation in action after the winter. On the back of Bozo’s neglect of our health. Maybe the BOD wanted the s/p low for its LTIP free share allocation. They have not exactly promoted trust from shareholders.
But the market is soulless too and is only interested in cash generation and profit ( and algo-trading meanwhile).
The next set of results from Nov is what I will be interested in. I don’t think they can write anything off any more can they??

Not true that punters here, disappointed as they are. add little to shareholder value.
Every shareholder should be valued. In theory LTH’s like myself “ deserve” more respect but in reality not really. Thexsystem allows people to buy and sell at will and even intra-day. Short-medium or long term investors should all be treated equally…moaning or not. I do my fair share of late!!

I put my post alongside Chrisdr.
Even if it is a shambles we should do it.
I also hold a very substantial number of shares. Hence my asking for acknowledgement.
So I urge everyone to just do it.
I did it on my iphone ( no seedy jokes please) having printed the form and signed it. Electronic signature not possible.
I recognize the second class nature of the process but we have a duty to vote and they have a duty to accept it…as best as we can do it.
So …pi**ed off or not, I encourage everyone strongly to download the proxy form and screenshot their holdings. Attach and send..

I have just resent my form and proof of holdings.
And asked for acknowledgement of receipt and acceptance( I don’t expect a reply from such an amateur bunch ).
In 35 years of trading ( I was invested during Black Monday!) I have never known such a shambles as this.
I am not surprised they cannot get a vote.
I am afraid I suspect duplicity here. Someone will benefit from a scenario of no AGM and votes. Just like the share price is not coincidentally at its low. ( yes they did land on the moon-I watched it live) .
Either they are market morons or something is fishy. I’ve been around long enough to know it does not have to be a “Rubrik’s Cube”/ “ University Challenge final” to vote.

Larry thank you for educating me re. the share options. You have made me change my angry mind. DR your original point supports this. I have been increasingly to convincedly cynical about BOD intentions. LTIP’s are often derided but if the terms are beneficial to all investors then they are no bad thing. Free shares are the same if linked to credible performance. And only if so. So I can see the case for supporting the shares. I feel however that Ncyt’s communication on this -and other matters-has been nothing short of dire. Voting. Need a Phd in company website analysis to find or work it out( yes it’s probably just me!!) . And the form was abysmal if it’s the same as last time. Ncyt need a rocket up their SFA’s and to stop drinking that spare stuff in the corner of the lab. Bl**dy good at the bio-stuff. Almost ( but not ) as inept as Boris on a good day with the other stuff.
I personally seriously disrespect posters who come on in order to stir and shake suffering holders. They obviously do not hold . Or they would be attacking themselves. They may be shorting. Or have twisted pleasure from bothering others. I just don’t get it and it is twisted and distorted. Nov has screwed up in a few domains but is earning money every month. To sow the seeds of liquidation is malicious. It is clearly not done to help people altruistically. Why do this without a personal agenda. Indisputable. To help holders see the light?? Goosed. Not at all. I am in same boat as most everyone elsereally. Except their averages are probably lower. The void is just what Researcher 1 described well. A controlled market divorced from the company. Same for many/most shares. The void is the algo-void which is beyond our control . When they want to they will raise it. “ Suspend thought and judgment” ( Karl Jung). These shares just have to be held and left. Not depressing. Just the way it is.
It’s a paper market uless you sell.

Nov share detached from the company. MM’s creating daily market to generate profit. It’s simply what they do. Monitored computer algo trades. That’s all this is right now.
Needs solid contractual news or DHSC resolution or A non-Lemming RNS with flesh in it.
Otherwise it’s just a pawn.
Contentiously I have always wondered whether the company iis complicit and wants p/i’s out. But the other part of me says they have proven they know shed loads about biochemistry but JS about the markets. So maybe not. Or maybe.
I hope the Agm/Egm go through but without bonuses. Don’t vote by proxy or they will get their bonus. It’s not deserved. Best to attend the meeting by video/audio and ask questions. And tell them how it really is for the other half.

We have well over 40k cases daily in October. Nil restrictions. High flu prognosis. Many kids at school and workers off sick already. My kids have covid second time atm and double jabbed. The health boffins warn us of a hard winter ahead. They can’t be sure but are collating evidence. And there is a lot of it.
So Nov should nurture the markets abroad. Particularly USA. Fight its govt. case to the death. Provide its NHS contract re. multi virus recognition. Continue to provide value but reliable pcr’s. Etc
I am hoping new chappie is not a laboratory clone and wooes the market. Sells Nov to a covid-weary UK and world.
We need good solid cash figures.

Nov can still surprise to the upside:- a negotiated outcome -hopefully-with gov.uk probably next year. Cash generation from assays and office portables and health instruments a la ITIC.
Real concrete cash figures as well as contracts. That’s what the market likes!!!
I still have not sold a bean. In fact bought more. Not out of faith with the BOD. Far from it. But because of lack of faith in our incredibly inept govt. and winter coming.

Excellent thread. Thanks Hillseeker and Brochroch ..Kaeren and others for sharing. So good to get people helping each other out. I am on a 75% loss at these prices (256). It hurts but I ain’t crystallising a loss when winter is on the way and Boris still in charge. I resonate with Bluelight if he bought so high. Me too. The s/h neglect has been astounding. It’s not just the DHSC contract.
Ncyt don’t read the financial papers in their laboratory coffee breaks. I’m hanging in for as long as it takes as I know how the market works. Any share can go lower. Or the other way. I hope this new guy is not just interested in himself and sees a wider sense of responsibility. This is definitely still one to bottom drawer open-endedly.

Mm’s want to range trade this at rock bottom. Ridiculous price. But as a recent researcher said..it is what they do. 16 people seemed to agree which is good. They are clued in.
4D best to be left now.And peeked in on couple of times a day-maybe more as it moves fast. But for us LTH on highish breakevens it is time to shove it in the bottom drawer and leave it until therapeutic news or until the fat or slimline controllers decide it is to their benefit to hike it.
Best left and checked at times but only an RNS will reflate enough for some of us.
